Chapter 20: Engagement

"My darling, what did you want to talk to me about?"

"During yesterday's, uhm, activity... You asked me if I wanted to be your test subject for the rest of our lives,"

"Yes I did, I remember, why?"

"What did you mean by that?" She gingerly asked

"Well I... Ehem, Y/N L/N," he got down on one knee as he held her hand between his, "Will you be with me for the rest of our lives..." he took a deep breath as she cried tears of joy, "When you dropped that first bully for me I knew that I would want you by my side until my death, I want you to be with me for as long as we rotate the sun, I want you to be with me until the last star dies out and the universe collapses in on itself... Will you marry me?"

"Yes Senku! Obviously yes!" She wrapped her arms around his neck practically choking him

"Wanna announce it to the village?"

"Sure my love... But one thing first..." she bit his shoulder as hard as she could, teeth sinking into the flesh and drawing blood

"Ahh what the fuck Y/N?!?" He wasn't mad... He was excited

Kohaku went to chief Chrome and had him gather the whole village for a "meeting"
