Chapter 3: Technical issues

Sooooo I'm bad at writing, so everything between this and last chapter is accurate to the anime and this chapter is not, FYI

OK LETS GET INTO IT

"Senku are you really going to fight in the tournament?" Ginro asks

"Why wouldn't I? It helps our odds and I've got nothing to lose!"

(They walk into the village and the fight goes exactly as it happens in the anime)

"Oh thank the stars, a victory for the kingdom of science, now get up Chrome and marry your love. Chrome?"

He was completely knocked out, "And the winner is SENKU"

They cheered and began to celebrate, they started by thanking the warrior deity, Senku looks around, "What's a warrior deity?"

"There's this legend of a warrior that goes back to the beginning," Kohaku began, "An ancient story told through the generations, a fierce protector was born to shield her home from danger, alas, she lost everything, even though she was the guardian she couldn't help, she lives on immortalized by stone-"

Senku perked up, "Let me see her please!"

If I'm right it explains her not being next to me...

He followed Kohaku while the people were asking about his marriage and if he agreed to it, as soon as he saw the statue his jaw dropped open, "I'll be back, just a little while longer!"

He ran out of the village and grabbed the last vial of revival fluid and some spare clothes, when he got back everyone was impatiently waiting on him to say his "I do's" but he was busy, he threw the clothes onto the statue and dumped the fluid on its head

As the stone cracked the village panicked, that was until they realized the stone was becoming a person

"Y/N, Y/N wake up! You've been asleep for 3,700 years!"

"Sen... Senku? ARE YOU OK? THE LIGHT AND-" he hugged her so hard it stopped her breathing for a moment

"I thought I lost you for good dummy, never scare me like that again!" He was physically shaking while the village looked on

"Where are we?" Y/N suddenly felt exposed

Kohaku spoke first, "Ishigami villiage, my guardian you're alive!"

"Guardian? Senku, what's happening?" Y/N yawned and blinked tears out of their eyes

"These people believe that you were a guardian of the village for centuries, but what you really are is-"

"SENKU, what will you do about the wedding?"

Senku's getting married? I missed my chance...

"Let Chrome have the title, he's earned it, truly, but I'll take the alcohol!" He grabbed Y/N's arm and pulled her up, "TO THE SCIENCE HUT!" He grabbed a pot of alcohol with his other hand and off they went

Y/N listened gingerly as Senku explained all the things she had missed out on, it was making her pout, "So you're saying I missed ramen? No fucking fair, make me some leek-for-brains!" She smacked the back of his head

"Leek-for-brains? You'd think with how long we'd been apart you had time to think of something better," he laughed in their face, "Seriously! I thought you were smarter than this!"

His laugh was cut short by a slap to his face, "You are so stupid Senku! God!" She grabbed a hunting knife and  jumped out of the hut, she ran into the forest with tears in her eyes

"What do you mean I'm stupid?!?" Senku was lost in thought because he's a moron

Well that's new... She's never done anything like that before, could something have gone wrong with the de-petrification?

"Wow Senku, you're an entire idiot! Don't you- UGH!" Kohaku ran into the woods after Y/N
