Chapter 5: Senku Gets Mad

Gen introduces Senku to Hyoga, one of Tsukasa's best fighters, and the genius himself punched him in the face. The mentalist was in shock, he had never seen Senku act violently before

"Hyoga? That's his name?" Was met with a nod, "If you ever hurt her again I'll kill you, all life deserves a chance and this is yours. Do. Not. Touch. Her."

"You don't understand, she's a monster!" He started to shiver, "She took down four of my best men by herself and even managed to knock me out. Who's capable of anything like that!"

"She did?"

"Three are dead, soon to be four..." he motioned to the man next to him, "I actually poisoned him so it will be painless, he isn't waking up..."

"Why did you join Tsukasa?"

"Because he's strong, I'm working along side him until I can find a weakness and then I'll kill him, that is my goal, I am and am not your enemy..."

"Well" Y/N was able to walk, that's good, "Now you're our inside man, you'll give us all the information we need, because I said so," she smiled sweetly and wandered off

"In this lighting she's astonishing to behold, you wouldn't understand but... My god... I love her? No... No no there's no way, she could kill me... Thats why!" Hyoga was trying to reason with himself as Senku went to stir up the village

"Attention citizens of Ishigami village, My name is Senku as you know, I was temporarily village chief till I bestowed the title to Chrome. The guardian was almost kidnapped, she came back alive but barely, she took down five of the Tsukasa empires best!" He was met with cheers, "It's not a good thing! She almost died in a battle to not give them leverage over us! Y/N, the Ishigami guardian survived, but she wants us to train, for if we don't, we will lose and we will die!"

There was a fog over the village, literally and metaphorically, "She's decided to train you so you don't have to worry about being kidnapped, you may still be taken but you'll be more capable, she is the most capable person I've ever met and that's why I l-, I trust her with this job... Work hard, and we will live!" The village cheered, little did Senku know Y/N listened to the whole thing

"Oi Senku! These bandages are itchy as hell!" They cropped their shirt and ripped off the bandage, "Why don't we show those boys hell!" Kohaku laughed and made them all follow them to the tournament grounds, it was time to spar

Kohaku and Y/N trained the villagers as Senku gave the priestess her medicine, fully allowing her to relax

"Senku?" Chrome looked at the scientist baffled, "Why didn't you marry her?"

"Because you love her Chrome, and I'm sure she loves you too but you both aren't ready to admit so you're stuck in relationship limbo"

"So like you and Y/N?"

Senku grabbed the boys shoulders, "No, why? Did she say something to you?!?"

"Damn man it was a joke, chill out... But it does seem that you like her so why not?"

"It's both simple and not, don't you see? Caring about someone like that, it distracts you from more important things. What if I don't beat the Tsukasa empire? Then she'll be the first target once I'm dead and I can't stand the thought of it..."

"Wow that's the most unselfish thing you've ever said, I'm telling her-"

"I'll kill you myself"

"It was a JOKE, I would never and I expect you to do the same for Ruri, understood?"

Senku nodded now deep in thought

I'd avoid war in any way possible so long as she's ok...
