CHAPTER 2 OF "The After Show"

Zonnique POV: I woke up and answered my phone then stepped out the room so I wouldn't wake the boys.

Me: hello?

Mirical:*crying* Auntie niq! u have to come to Auntie bres house fast!

Me: wat happened?

Mirical: I heard a loud smack and ran into her room with daddy standing over her and she was unconscious. I ran back into my room and called y-

I heard mannys voice and he was angry he was screaming at mirical. she started screaming. but it was screams of pain the phone dropped.

I put on some sweats and a jacket and drove to bres house as fast as I could. Once I got there I saw ambulances and cop cars and the whole thing.

I saw Deshon and mirical in one cop car crying. I went to them and opened the door

Deshon: Auntie niq!

Me:*takes him out the car* wat happened!?

Deshon: Manny hit my mommy and she won't wake up

Mirical: the cops took him already

I saw bruses and cuts on her face and arms

Me: wat happened?

Mirical: he..he attacked me

Me: wat u mean?

Mirical: he grabbed the phone and started beating me with I think a wire then I think Deshon called 911

Me: Deshon baby u called 911?

Deshon:*nods*

Me:*hugs him* good u did the right thing baby

Officer:*walks up to me* ma'am are u family to these children?

Me: yes I'm there Aunt...is breaunna ok?

Officer: yes she passed out because he hit her in the head. she's ok now but she lost the baby. they took her to the hospital and she's there. will u be taking these children?

Me: yes and can u plz check her out*points to mirical* she was beat pretty bad...just to make sure no damage was done?

Officer: of course

he took mirical to one of the ambulances then I saw bahja and r.j pull up.

Bahja: WTF PUT MY CHILD IN HARM!?

Me: bahja she's ok calm down

Bahja: CALM DOWN!? MANNY NEARLY KILLED BRE AND HURT MIRICAL

R.j: baby really calm down

Mirical:*walks to bahja* mommy I'm fine

Bahja:*hugs her* thank God

Deshon: daddy!

R.j:*picks him up* are u ok?

Deshon: yes can I see mommy now?

R.j: where did they take her?

Me: to the hospital she lost the baby

R.j:*looks down* ok Deshon I don't want u to see mommy lik tht maybe wen she comes home

Deshon:ok can we go home?

R.j: ok we taking mirical?

Bahja: yes stupid

R.j:*rolls eyes* thanks zonnique for coming we would've been here sooner but...

Me: wat?

Bahja: he got arrested

Me: wat!? wat did u do?!

R.j: nothing it was Manny...he was saying Deshon was his son and they arrested me because I wad trying to take him...but everythings alright

Me: ok...Deshon baby u ok?

Deshon: yes

Me: he's shaking r.j

R.j: wats wrong

Deshon: I'm scared

Bahja: of wat?

Deshon: w-wat if Manny hurts mommy even more...I don't want her hurt daddy

R.j:*tears fill his eyes* she's gonna be ok. Manny can't hurt her no more

Deshon: I just want my mommy safe

Bahja: she is safe dey lets go home ok?

Deshon: ok

They went I guess to bahjas or Manny house and I went to the hospital to get bre. wen I got there she was in the bed sleep. I sat down quietly but she woke up

Me: hey...u ok?

Bre:*smiles* yes I'm fine

Me: I'm happy to see u smiling so soon

Bre:*sits up* well wat else can u do? u can't just mope around all day

Me:*kisses her cheek* thts right

Bre: where's Deshon?

Me: with r.j and bahja

Bre: ok I get out of here tomorrow

Me: ill pick u up then

Bre: ik thanks

Me: u want me to stay with u?

Bre: plz?

Me: of course

I held her hand and made a bed out of two chairs and a pillow. we fell asleep together
