P.S This poem is inspired by the thought of losing one's parents. That kind of loss turns the world upside down.

The era of love was no more,
gone soon, devastatingly quickly.
The realization was bone-chilling;
How was she going to keep on living?

Her loss shattered her and infected her.
The blistering pain tore her apart.
It took away her abilities, and her happiness;
Who thought love could do that?

Her future faded, and her emotions elevated.
She lost it all before she arose; potent.
