You settled in a corner of my infatuated heart, And claimed it as your true home. You fit so perfectly, that I could not harbor any doubt of you, Until you corrupted me with your whispered lies.
I failed to see your orphic nature, While you slyly set my heart on fire. At the sight of fumes did I come to my senses; Then I saw you for who you were.
You left me with no choice but to banish you, From the lands of my aching heart that you claimed were yours.
