It was unfortunately time to go back to school after summer break, and I was excited to see my friends again
I opened the front doors to the school, immediately spotting my friends, val and synthia giggling and chatting about whatever
I ran up to them, submerging them in a hug, squeezing them tightly
"Synth! Val! I missed youuu"
I say, kissing them on their cheeks
"Y/n! It's been ages!"
Val said as they both hugged me back
We pulled away firm the hug, talking about boy Anne other random stuff, until val looked behind me, her smiley face changing to a shocked one real quick, i turned around to see what they were looking at
It was finney Blake, and holy shit has he had a glow up
"Holy Jesus, no way that's finney Blake"
Synthia muttered out
"Dang, he's kinda cute"
Val said
"He was always cute Val"
I say, still staring at him as he walked past, he sent me a smile and winked, and holy mother of Jesus, my knees went weak
"Well that's what you thought, how many years have you had a crush on that geeky nerd for again? 3 years?"
Synthia chuckled
Finney was wearing a long sleeved black shirt with three buttons at the top with blue jeans, his hair was curly and fluffy looking, he was taller, and looked more muscular, his jawline was sharp and his eyes were still dough looking, he's perfect, he was always perfect
"Alright n/n that's enough drooling"
Val giggled as she snapped me out of my day dream about the brunette boy
"I plan on getting you 2 together this year, it's been to long"
Val said as she grabbed me by my shoulder, shaking me as synthia stared at Robin who was walking beside finney, her boyfriend, but she didn't look happy, she looked mad, probably because he didn't say hi to her (lmao literally my bf 🙄🙄)
"I'm in love with him, Val"
I say, still staring off into the distance as he stood at his locker with robin
