Sick • vance hopper

"Y/n I'm fine!"

Vance whined as I tried to make him swallow the pill, Vance was sick and we were staying of school, but he kept refusing that he was sick because he didn't wanna take his medication

"Vance please swallow the pill, if you do then we can watch a movie or something! I need you to take this so you can get better, otherwise you can't play pinball"

I say to him, sweetly. Maybe if I was nicer he would listen

"I can play pinball whenever I want, sick or not! I'm not taking any pills!"

He said to me, squinting his eyes at me, pouting slightly as he played with one of his bracelets

"Don't pout"

I say to him, raising my eyebrows,still holding the cup of water and a small pill in my other hand

He glared at me, then rolling his eyes as he stopped pouting

"Why can't you take it?"

I say as I placed the water on his bedside table

"Because they are scary"

He said to me quietly

"Your scared of pills?"

I chuckled lightly

"Shut up, your scared of spiders"

He said to me as he pushed my shoulder lightly, along with a cough

"Vance, if you told me this earlier I could've just gotten you some liquid medicine"

I say to him, walking out of his room

"But that shits rank!"

I heard him yell as I walked down the stairs and into the medicine cabinet, grabbing the one he needed

I say as I walked back into his room and sitting on his bed, taking the medicine and putting some on a spoon

"Cmon, drink it"

I say to him, bringing it closer to his face

"No, it tastes like shit"

He said, pushing the spoon away from his face

"Cmon, just take 2 of these and some water, and you'll be fine, then I'll take you to the grab n go for an hour, but only if you take this"

I say to him. He sighed before opening his mouth and squeezing his eyes shut

"Good boy"

I say to him as I put the spoon in his mouth and bringing it back out

"Ew"

He said as he grabbed the water from my other hand, drinking a few mouthfuls and heading it back to me

"Mkay, one more"

I say, putting more medicine on the spoon

"No, I already did one"

He said, pushing the spoon away once more

"Baby, I told you that you had to take two"

I said to him, pushing the spoon to his face again

"After this, you promise to take me to the grab n go?"

He said

"Promise"

I say, smiling lightly before feeding him the medicine

"Okay, I did it let's go"

He said after downing the rest of the water

I chuckled lightly as he dragged me downstairs

He slid on his shoes as I slid on mine aswell

"Vance, if you even cough we are going home"

I say to him before we exited the front door, making our path to the grab n go

"Yeah yeah whatever"
