10-Banish

The canopy of the wild welcomes a breathing corpse into its arms,
she falls into it with practiced grace as she finally allows herself to sob.
The taals that always bound her, now sing her grief,
her love and heartbreak fuel the lyrics,
the rain that showers now wipes away the
acrimonious remains of the Emperor's mercy
and she feels all that he couldn't banish!
She dances away in oblivion till her legs bleed and her breaths cease,
Her heart lies splintered
and she perishes with the ashes of a burnt dynasty of their dreams!
