7-Harmony

The gossamer threads of fate have woven a tragedy,
their story is penned in words of ivy inked graphemes!
They never meant to fall in love, it was only a bid at harmony,
their alliance had never been their will.
For one was resplendent in her zenith and the other resilient in her gleam,
they were the sun and moon, two adversaries.
But their hearts were agape and that was their malediction,
for their alliance was supposed to remain a loveless union,
they shouldn't have forgotten, their feelings were forbidden.
meant for others, never for their own!

I might rewrite this sometime later because I feel the flow isn't really good and the idea I wanted to convey has not completely been portrayed. What do you think?

PS: agape here is used in the context of selfless love.

Pratyusha
