The lights go out and the facade drops,
it's an empty theatre now but you still hear the applause,
you feel him collapse and you smell the smoke,
you hear the sob he's trying to choke!
He tugs your strings and rips you out,
you don't mourn the arm that's now lost,
he holds you tight before he throws you out,
you lie unblinkingly on the cold, hard ground!
What you feel means nothing at all,
you are just as kaput as your puppeteer!

I'm not exactly satisfied with this and I have serious doubts if the word fits in here properly. Maybe will have a go at it sometime again.
