It was a normal day on the block I was trappin with my nigga T.Roy... we was hanging with our older nigga OD Perry that we call OD, and JR. We were posted in the middle of the block when Zay thick ass was walking in through the gates.

She was coming back from school it was Friday so I skipped and made a few dollas. I am sick of being broke.

Back then some of the niggas joke about her because she was plus size. Anytime they would say anything about her T.Roy and I had to check they asses, T.Roy had to fight a few of them with his little ass. We definitely had to make sure she was straight.

She's my best friend, like we're real close fareal. We keep that side secret because I know how the elders and other people see me as and she's a god girl so I don't want her to be judge and she don't do anything.

She finally made her way closer to the group and I stepped in front of her blocking her from walking.

"What do you want Vonnie." She said with a smirk

"Why you always treating me like a damn step kid." I said wiping my smile off trying to play it off

"Hey you guys, what's up cuzo." She said to the group, and addressing T.Roy then she gave me her attention again

"Because that is what you are. Now excuse me Mr. Bennett." She smiled showing all teeth walking around me

I turned around watching her walking to her apartment complex, I turned back around to look at T. Roy I shook my head smiling. He looked at me then back at the direction of Zay was walking in then back at me.

"Man you like her fareal." T.Roy said dapping me up

"You already kno on King David, but I'm about to head to the house real quick."

"Ight bra."

I made my way into my house and m mom was in the kitchen with Daya making dinner. It looked like she was making some Philly Cheese Stakes with some Fries. I know for sure that I am coming in for dinner tonight. I walked over to Daya mushing her and giving ma a kiss on her foe head.

"What up ma what are you up to?" I said sitting on the dinning room table

"Nothing making this dinner, I wanted to talk to you about that girl you are always talking to." She said while chopping the onions

"Ma I already told you her name is Zayanna but we call her Zay." I said smiling

"So you like Zayanna." Ma asked as she stopped chopping onions turned and looked at me with a smile

"I mean ma she's cool on foe nem, dats T.Roy cousin." I said smiling

"Oh really, okaaaay and where's T.Roy, I haven't seen him in a few weeks?"

"You know he's around ma."

"What about his living situation is he okay?"

"Yea ma he's good he's staying with Zay, and her mom."

"Okay so I have to meet Zayanna, and her mother one day I was just wondering you can go back outside and play." She turned back around and started cutting up the peppers

I wasn't going to tell my mom that T.Roy mother use to beat him and take the little money that he did have. he didn't have much so the little change he did make she would find. He would use that money to keep up with the bills for the house.

Auntie Coco got worse over the years she use to be so beautiful and things like that it was just that once his father got killed she changed. Started prostitution, and doing coke now she's on heroin.

I don't want to get into it to much but he will tell you when he get the chance to.

I've been slangin for a while now so now its time for me to really get into some shit and really make some money. Some corn ball ass niggas have been posted with some money I need that.

I slid up on O and JR

"Aye what's up O, Jr what yall up to?" Doin our hand shake to each of them

"Shit wha dup T." Jr asked

"I want to be put on the slidin game yall need an extra person?" I asked checking out my surroundings

"Hell ya come holla at us in an hour." Said Jr

"Ight, Bet." Dappin them up and walking off

I ended up going to Vons I haven't seen auntie T in a while. As I was walking up to the door I smelt food instantly I came just in time. A few taps to the door, and Daya answered the door.

"Wha dup bra." Daya said giving me a hung stepping to the side letting me in

"Nun much tryna see whea fo head at." While she sook her head laughin

"In his room you can go head and head back dea ya hungry?' I shook my head yes and headed to the back

Before I made it to Vons room auntie stopped me while she was coming out of the bath room.

"Hey hunny how are you?" She said giving me a hug

"I'm good how about yourself auntie I haven't seen you ina min." I said while twisting a dread

"I'm good hunny I havenr seen you in a while, I am just checking up on you. I also was wondering about you cousin Zay? She be havin Von smile from ear to ear." She said leaning against the door frame

"Zay is cool peoples she's the only cousin that I have. She's into her art stuff, like airbrush, and drawing right now. My auntie Tiny is so nice you have to meet her one day." I said smiling

"I would love to and your cousin seems like a wonderful girl." She said walking away

I knocked on the door that Von said to come in. As soon as I walked in his room I shut the door. behind me, von was laying down chillen listening to music

"Aye bra, I have a play for us to make some money now. It's time to man up and get some bread."
