Teach me how to flirt.

Chapter twenty:

“-you got your papers?” Ella asked fiddling inside her huge bag as Zack passed his fingers through his hair and yawned keeping his eyes on the road.

“Yeah chika, I’ve got everything.” He replied nonchalantly.

Ella turned and glared at his side,” hey, don’t you complain to me, I am making sure you got everything! I just – have – this- feeling that we forgot some-“

“Chika, we didn’t forget anything. So please, I suggested the road trip for us to like be lovey dovey with each other!” he whined pouting and succeeding perfectly when his pink lip popped out. Ella giggled at the cuteness of it all and then she sighed and closed her eyes.

“we’ve got everything we need. We’ve got everything we need.” She murmured over and over again for a while till she stopped as Zack’s palm squeezed her thigh softly.

“fine baby. Let’s turn on the radio,” she smiled and reached for the tuner.

Zack was wearing an off white polo with his blue jeans and leather shoes, his hair was –as usual- in its curly brown state, but today he did something different. It was slickly pushed back and looked like he just got out of the shower, which was adding to his charisma all the more. Ella however, was wearing her white jeans and orange tank top.

Her eyes were covered with her bug glasses and when she realized that the sun was getting hotter and more intense, she opened her bag, looked for something and when it was finally found, she handed Zachariah his favorite ray ban glasses which he put on gladly after kissing her palm.

They already discussed the plan, they were going to drive till Kansas and will spend half a day there which thankfully won’t interrupt their timed schedule.

There was a motel that Zack heard off, in the calm part of Kansas. That was their destination. They had wallets full of money, a car full of gas and a plan to make them spend the time of their lives.

Mary stared at Brian sitting a few steps away from her. she was in a café that she loved going to every now and then, it was just beside the beach so she wore a yellow baby doll dress that reached mid her thigh and sandals that were easy enough for her to take off when going to the beach.

Gulp.

As soon as her eyes lay on brain’s lean back, Noah abruptly snapped inside her mind. She had to blink twice to not think of him. She called Brian in the morning, told him how she’d love to meet up with him and that she was finally single. When he asked why, she just said the truth “it was going nowhere”

So there she was, staring at her –most possibly- future boyfriend, she knew she broke something inside Noah’s heart but was fully aware of letting him go for the sake of another person. Was it even worth it jumping from guy to guy like that? She bets Noah is fuming and broken hearted because the first two girlfriends he ever had, were his best friends, both ended up breaking up with him, and then quickly found someone to replace him. Mary’s eyes tickled her and she took in a huge breath vowing not to cry.

She shouldn’t have chosen to go on the next step with Noah, it was wrong on so many levels. They were best friends and she was curious if it would feel like what Ella used to say, but Mary stupidly forgot a very important thing, Ella was kind of like Noah’s one and only.

She wiped her palms against her dress and took a couple of steps forward, reaching Brian’s body.

“hey there.” she said happily, Brian swiftly turned around and eyed her up before settling on her face.
