4) The Hospital

"She's crashing."

Mayas POV
It's been a few hours since we've been here the hardest part of being here is the waiting game. I need to know she's okay how did it happen I mean just didn't say she got hit with anything. "Mrs.Bishop?" A doctor says "yes" I say "I'm doctor Amelia shepherd I'm your sister's doctor. She is okay and stable." She tells me "can I see her?" I asked "yes of course follow me." She says we make our way to her room. I walk in and sit beside the bed. "Come on kid wake up." I say

I was sitting there watching the Heart monitor going. As it slowly beeped hoping for her to wake up soon. I hear the door open "hey maya." Andy said as she walked in "hey." I say "how's she doing." She asked as she walks in and sits down. "She's okay I guess. She's stable so that's a good thing. They said they'd come check on her again here in a few just to make sure everything is going good." I tell her "at least she's okay and it wasn't to bad." She said  "what if something happens and she can't be a firefighter anymore?" I asked "that won't happen just started as a firefighter she'll wake up in no time." She tells me I know if something happens she would be upset. She's a fighter so she got to pull though right. I thought to myself. "The team had to leave but they told me to tell you that she'll be okay." Andy tells me "thank you for staying." I thanked her. Knowing she didn't have to stay but she did  "your my best friend Maya and she's your sister I'm not leaving yet." She tells me and I nod. We talk a little bit longer.

The doctors have just come in to check on her "she's doing good she should wake up here in a couple hours or so I just wanna keep a close watch on that head injury. Do you know how it happened?" Doctor shepherd asked me "I'm not sure she ran into a burning house without gear on. The house was coming down so something could have hit her and she not notice it right away." I told her and she nodded. "Why would she go in with out gear on?" Andy asked after doctor shepherd lift "I don't know I wish I did. I mean I understand that the woman was worried about her daughter but not to think to grab someone's gear." I said.  "Maybe she was just thinking it would be faster cause the house was coming down you know." Andy tells me "maybe but hopefully this won't happen again." I tell her. "She'll be smarter next time." She says

About 30 minutes later after Andy  lift I sat there waiting for her to wake up when I here the door open I turn to see who it was "why are you here?" I asked the person who walked in. " they called me." The person said "you don't have to be here she's fine." I tell the person "maya she's my..."
