Chapter 18 : Reunited

Riley's POV

I meet up Josh and we sit at Topanga's,

I am propped up on a comfy red chair, a magazine on my lap,

"your just gonna read that the whole time?" Josh asks prodding me,

"ow!" I say rubbing my arm where he had poked me,

the shop bells chime,

"oh look one of your friends his here" he Josh says looking up,

and within a second I am in a state of worry, my heart beating so hard it, I feel as if it could break out of my chest,

"wow Riley" Josh says concerned, he widens his eyes, "it's just Dr Turtleneck",

I roll my eyes, Farkle is the least of my worries, atleast it's not Maya,

or Lucas..

"wait why are you mad at him?" Josh says leaning closer and whispering as Farkle within 3 feet ordering something,

"he ignored me as soon as he found out I had made Maya upset" I hiss back,

Josh raises his eyebrows,

"but I didn't!" I say raising my voice,

" she's the one who went behind my back and kissed the guy who she knew I liked" I spit.

I look back to Farkle,

"I think you should talk to him about it, I mean this seems like the smallest issue out of the three" Josh advises,

I shrug sighing,

Farkle catches my eye and I frown quickly looking away, I see him still looking at me from the corner of my eye, and it seems like he wants to walk over.

My phone buzzes,

Lucas : Riley are you okay?

I take a breath and decide to reply, but this pain tugs at my heart, I love him so much,

Riley : I'm fine

he instantly replies

Lucas : what you doing?

I can't stop myself from typing,

Riley : I'm at Topangas with Josh, Farkle is here

Lucas : Farkle?

I don't want to say to much as I will blurt out everything as usual, so I decide to ignore this text,
