Part 20. Like a man

Missed call, unchecked e-mail, unchecked social apps notifications, alarm to wake up in the early morning, 3 AM, do not disturb is on. It tells about his new life, in the new place, on the military Army Special Forces base.

Author's note

This part is Taehyung's flashback, he is remembering why he made such a choice by marrying. He married a woman just as his parents wanted him to do. The marriage was arranged, no love, no feelings, no real relationship. Taehyung was attached to his parents and afraid to disappoint them because of society's condemnation. He was afraid to do something that is considered shameful by society and thus he and people that associate with him will lose people's respect. This is why he did it to hide his true identity.

Since the first parts there was a hint that Tae's family is rich and in this part is revealed that his father is a president of company, thus Taehyung was a heir, he had to be a boss, a man of status, prestige and power. People made a whole list of what a real man should be. This is what everyone wanted Taehyung to be. The only person who never expected anything from him was Jungkook, his boyfriend, his secret lover... if people would find out, they both will be forever judged by others. His fear eventually led him to lose his man.
