As we got on the bus, everyone was celebrating the win except me. They pulled through winning 92-89
Kai had 28 points, 12 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 blocks.
Marquis had 32 points 10 assists 3 rebounds and 3 steals.
What did I have well I had 3 point, 1 rebound, and 6 fouls. Was I pissed off yes. Why because now I'm definitely not starting the rest of the tournament. Plus coach yelled at me
"Lighten up Kyle. Stop letting your feeling get the best of you and play ball damn." Tyler said to me and I rolled my eyes.

Once we got to the hotel I was paired with Tyler and we went to our room. We took showers and got dressed to go to dinner
Once I saw Sky I walked over to her. "Hey"
"Hi Kyle" we sat down together while we waited for everyone else
I didn't know what to say.
"Your not starting the rest of the tournament. Marquis is." She said and my face started to turn red
I sucked my teeth but didn't say anything. Everyone started to come and Kai sat on the other side of Sky
"We played good but not great. We need to get out there and dominate tomorrow. We play at 12:30 so everyone need to be down here at 8 so we can practice" couch said
Tyler stood up "as captain I want to encourage y'all to work hard and not to stay up late. I wanna win and I know y'all do to. Thank you" he sat back down
As we ate Sky mostly talked and giggled with Kai. He wasn't even saying anything funny
I'm jealous no need to lie or act like I'm not. "So what are you plans for the school year" I interrupted there conversation
They ignored me and carried on with there conversation. I didn't have anybody to talk.
I couldn't help but look at sky. She was touching Kai's shoulder and arm while they were talking. It's killing me
I tapped her shoulder and she turned and looked at me "what Kyle"
"Damn I can't talk to you."
"What is so important" she rolled her eyes at me "I just wanted to see how you doing. Maybe have a basic conversation"
She rolled her eyes again "please Kyle what ever your trying to start just drop it" she turned back around
I sucked my teeth and started to get up to go upstairs. Nobody stopped me or asked where I was going. Made me feel a type of way to be honest
Once I got to the elevator everyone else was starting to come over too
"Stop acting like a little bitch, damn. You're here to play basketball not watch Skylar. She don't want you no more so get over it and find a new girl" Tyler said "or boy if that's what you're in to"
I sucked my teeth again and we went up to our room.

The next day- 11:30am
We were just about to start the game. "Pick and rolls are y'all best bets here. They don't do good with mismatches" Skylar said and we nodded.
We won that game 110-82
I had 35 point 13 rebounds 10 assists and 8 blocks
Huncho had 40 point, 15 steals, 6 assists and 3 rebounds
Tyler had 33 point 4 rebounds and 10 assists
SJ had 13 point, 12 assists and 5 rebounds
Kyle had 10 point, 5 turnovers and 6 fouls again
Kyle's sat set couch off. "What the fuck is wrong with you? You ain't never play like that before and now in a win or go home situation you want to foul out back to back games"
Kyle face turned red and Go was sitting beside me giggling. "I promise you Kyle you're not playing the next game unless you can get your shit to fucking gether"
He walked out of the locker room. "Kyle you're really pissing us off. I don't care that we won you ain't playing right. So whatever it is that making you play like this you need to get it off your fucking chest"
"It's nothing y'all." He whispered but I knew that was a lie. He still made about Sky.
Im not even dating her and he's pissed that we became friends.
SJ stood up "If it's nothing then play better. You making it real clear that the team can play and work without you man. Play harder next game. We play at 4:00 so get ready"
