Chapter 21

After parents' weekend, Enid was obsessed with the idea of going on a double date and after a lot of hesitation, I eventually agreed! I was sitting on my bed listening to music and drawing when Enid came to me and signed me to remove my headphones 

Enid: Y/n why are you sitting, we have to get ready.

She said and looked at the clock and saw that the date was in more than two hours 

Y/n: Are you serious? We have to leave in like two hours 

I said wearing my headphones again, but she took them from me and pulled me by my hand out of bed!

Enid: God Y/n, we are girls, and we need to be perfect 

She said, and I looked at her scared and my sister laughed! She was sitting at her desk writing her novel and she stopped and looked at us with a smirk 

Wednesday: Next time, think twice before you agree to do something with Enid 

She said, and she pulled me into our bathroom and took a small bag full of makeup 

Y/n: No one can do my makeup, except me

I said, taking the mascara she was holding in her hands 

Enid: Fine, but just let me do your hair

Y/n: We are not going to a gala, my hair looks fine like that

I said, looking at my straight raven hair (I think Y/n would have raven hair, but you can change it to your hair color if you want)! 

Enid: Pleaseeeeeeeeee

She said giving emphasis on ''e'' and looking at me with puppy eyes, and then I agreed, and she started jumping from excitement before she curly my hair! I never wear makeup because I don't like it! I think that makeup it's just some chemicals and I don't feel prettier with it! I mean, I never considered myself the prettiest girl on the planet, but makeup doesn't change my opinion! My mom always says that I am beautiful, and I shouldn't be so insecure with myself, and she is right! Being insecure is the most awful feeling ever, and in my opinion, girls in the whole world shouldn't feel ugly with themselves or don't like a part of their bodies! Everyone is beautiful in their way! It doesn't matter if you are tall or short, skinny or chubby, you shouldn't care if another person is thinner than you or taller or more beautiful! You shouldn't judge yourself because everyone is beautiful, there is no ugliness in the world!  The models in magazines aren't, nothing more than human like us, we are all the same! Beautiful and independent! That is my opinion, at least, and I think everyone should believe it too! 

After 200 million hours of getting ready with Enid, we arrived at the gate five minutes late, and it was her fault because she couldn't find her favourite bracelet! Unbelievable! The boys had decided to arrange the place we would go, so we had no idea! When we arrived, Xavier kissed me and he looked dreamy! He was wearing a black shirt with black jeans! Words can't explain how I felt when I saw him

Xavier: You look amazing 

He said whispering in my ear while he had his hand around my shoulder and I felt my cheeks burning, and I saw a little smirk painted across his face 

Y/n: I know 

I said, and we entered the taxi! We arrived at Jericho outside the Weathervane café and then Enid talked surprised 

Enid: What are we doing here? 

She said and Ajax smiled while looking at her 

Ajax: It's a surprise 

He said dragging her inside 

Y/n: Is this a good time to say that I don't like surprises?

I said, and Xavier smiled before he pulled me in by my hand. When we entered, we realized that the place was empty, and we were the only ones with a few employees! We sat at a table and Tyler came to us

Tyler: What would you like to order? 

He said with a smile on his face and I looked at him confused before turning to Xavier and whispered 

Y/n: Did you guys hypnotize them or something like that? 

I said snapping my fingers in front of his face and then Ajax talked because he heard what I said 

Ajax: No, just the owner of the place is good friends with my mother, so it's ours for the whole night 

He said while Enid and I were looking at him in surprise 

Enid: Are you joking? 

She said and he nodded negatively with a smile! After we ate, I was resting my head on Xavier's shoulder while he had his hand wrapped around me, and we were listening to Enid talking about her and Ajax's first date 

Enid: So guys, how was your first date? 

She asked, and that was the moment when I realized that Xavier and I had never gone on a date before! I mean, we were usually hanging out in his dorm but never went on an actual date! 

Y/n: We never had a date before 

I said, and she looked surprised before turning to him furious 

Enid: You haven't taken my own best friend on a date? You have to hide 

She said furiously and I smiled at her childish behavior 

Enid: Okay, but please tell me that you guys have a cute meet 

She said and I smiled while nodding 

Ajax: So you guys didn't meet in Nevermore? 

Xavier: Nope

He said and Enid started giggling and begging to hear the story, and he explained everything to her with every little detail, and she was smiling while listening to him in awe 

Enid: You guys have a cute meet that sooo amazing

She said with her head on her palm looking at us in awe. She said, and I looked at Xavier with a smile, and he smiled at me too

Ajax: You know, you really changed him! At first, he didn't even agree when we asked him if he likes you! But you know, he is usually super competitive and always after the win but in the Poe Cup when he saw you falling in the water, he immediately fell too before we were able to say a word! That was the moment when I realized that he was falling for you

He said and I smiled and then Enid talked again

Enid: You tell me? She denied it for months unit she finally woke up
