Falling in love
can either
end
with a warm silky soft cushion to land on
or
cold hard ground that shatters your bones
to bits and pieces.
But sometimes it's neither.
You keep
f
a
l
l
i
n
g
and
f
a
l
l
i
n
g
and there's no ground to land on,
hesitating,
thinking twice,
over-thinking,
before every step
with an unknown base
But you cant help but drop a centimeter
by another
and you know you're doomed
and there's no way out of it
but you force yourself to stay in denial,
sinking in oblivion.
I can't tell you how it ends
because that's how it is,
no one knows.
