At the Davenport mansion, Steve asks his parents to go on a trip with Barry's family to see the world's largest chest of drawers. Stan and his blonde wife named Francine turn him down because they never met Barry's parents and, judging Barry, assume that they're monstrously stupid sewer people. After Steve sasses back, they ground him for 2 months. "You're so, totally unfair. You never let me do anything!" Steve said.
"I'm totally frustrated, I feel it coming on!!!"
"Don't you do it, young man." said Francine angrily.
"I think I'm gonna go totally bananas!!" Steve said in rage.
Francine keeps telling her son not to go bananas, but his alien housemate, Roger, tells him to go bananas, which causes him to launch into a wild temper tantrum, known throughout the Los Angeles neighborhood as "going bananas".
Joslin overhears Steve going bananas from the Smith-Simpson family apartment, which, unlike the Davenport mansion, is an old, rundown Urban apartment located at the Los Angeles neighborhood. "I think Steve's going bananas again." said Joslin, annoyed. "SHUT UP, YOU DORK!!!!" Steve yelled at Joslin.
