Daniel and I had completed one year together on May 25th but we didn't do something wow, we flew to some resort in Pretoria and attended a function where he was the guest speaker in and he made sure I was well taken care of, it was his work thing but he made time for us to spend to together and just be us we even went to a spa and of cause we had great sex while we were there Nigga had his A-Game on. He's been so good to me that it all feels so surreal. You ever been in a relationship so perfect that you find it hard to buy that all this is happening to you, I mean yeah sure the fights are there but you guys bounce back and you make it work?! It was so perfect that at some point I once asked him what it was he was hiding and he told me nothing, he told me he had no ulterior motives, told me he only loved me and wanted to keep me happy that's all. Said he wants to erase all my pain and hurt from before he came along and he also said that he wasn't promising me a relationship that's smooth but he promised to try make it Smooth. He had his flaws here and there but I loved them anyway, turns out he wasn't as perfect as I thought; He was good with computers no doubt but now he used all that for malicious act, he once stole money from his father's business associate but the guy found out and had him arrested for that but he explained the real reason he did it and that was to get justice for his mom who was being blackmailed into having sex with the guy by this business associate and so his father pulled some strings to get him out without a record and his father dealt with the associate. It was Sunday 1st June and we were just sitting in his lounge watching tv when he got this call that got him all excited, when he dropped the call I got off his chest and turned to look at him.

Me: what?

He was all smiles.

Him: we have to go to Germany

Me: what? No.

Him: why?

Me: I have a job I admire dearly

Him: I've been telling you you don't need that job

Me: Daniel not this again please

Him: fine. You haven't even asked why we going to Germany and when we leaving

Me: ok. Why?

Him: you'll find out there and we leave this Thursday

Me: I have a job. Remember???

Him: I'm sure you can spare 2 days away from work

Me: Daniel you not being fair right now

Him: you the CEO

Me: exactly why I can't just up and leave whenever I want

On my birthday this year I was promoted to CEO at work because the previous one had died of Cancer plus I was a shareholder at the company, 25% shares. I bought them with the money I got from my fathers will. But I still lectured part time.

Him: you'll have your phone with you all weekend. Please babe

Me: I'll think about it

Him: Just say you'll come

Me: why do you always make it seem like I don't have a life or a job?

Him: No I don't

Me: yes you do

Him: can we please not argue

Me: argh whatever

I said getting up. He grabbed my hand

Him: please sit

I sat down

Him: I'm sorry

Me: why do we have to always argue about this huh? I feel like you undermining my job and my passion for it
