3rd POV

Everyone including Y/n flinched at the ungodly noise that seemed to know who Steven was.

Steven: Hey Connie, think you could take it down a little?

Connie: oops, sorry Steven.

Pearl: hello Connie! I see Steven already told you about y/n.

Connie: yea, and he's so much cooler than he made it sound!

Amethyst: you have no idea.

Steven: hey! How about we go get something to eat?

Pearl shudders at the idea, while Amethyst gladly goes with. Y/n follows them.

Y/n: Pearl?

Pearl: yes?

Y/n: I assume you will be fine on your own?

Pearl: yeah, I don't like food that much.

Y/n simply nods and continues to follow Steven.

Steven: here we are!

Y/n scans the building that Steven has led him to.

Y/n: "the big doughnut"

Steven: oh? Have you been here already?

Y/n: no, I just read the sign.

Steven: oh, welp let's go get some doughnuts!

Steven and Connie walk into the pastry parlor. However Y/n could not fit through the door.

Steven: oh, how about you just wait outside?

Y/n: that would be the best course of action.

Steven and Connie then walk up to the counter, Sadie notices them and smiles warmly.

Sadie: hey Steven, I see Connie is with you.

She motions to Connie, who is at the window looking at y/n in awe.

Sadie: what has her so distracted?

Steven: oh we just found a big robot.

Sadie: oh... cool, would you like the usual?

Steven: yes, but add an extra vanilla doughnut.

Sadie gets the order ready but just before she hands it to Steven a look of realization flashes on her face.

Sadie: wait, if he's a robot, doesn't he have like a power core thing feeding him energy already?

Steven: oh, yeah I guess he does... Oh well! We'll just have to see if he likes to eat, even if he doesn't need to.

Sadie: ok, here you go.

She hands Steven the bag and Steven pays for the doughnuts.

Sadie: have a nice day!

Steven: you too! Come on Connie let's go eat some doughnuts!

They both exit and see y/n standing next to a tree looking at a bird nest.

Steven: hey! Y/n, we got some food for you!

Y/n turns to face them, covered in squirrels, birds, and a raccoon, before he shakes them off.

Y/n: you are aware I do not require sustenance?

Steven: well I just thought you should try it to see if you like it?

Y/n: I do not have any dopamine receptors in my system.

Steven's face just looks like that of a 2 year old who was just told what the quadratic formula is.

Y/n: I will try one if that is what you wish.

Connie: wait. You don't have a mouth how will you-

She is interrupted by his lower faceplates opening up to show several rows of sharp teeth in a grinder fashion.

Steven: whoa, what is tha-

Connie: cool! It's like a grinder in there!

Steven hands y/n a vanilla doughnut only to see it be shredded like paper once it went into his "mouth" and the fire of his core grow brighter as the now unrecognizable pastry evaporated before it could even touch it.

Y/n: I still do not see the purpose of me eating anything.

Steven: well, I guess it's not for everyone.

Steven then notices something strange.

Steven: Connie, are you alright you've been quiet for awhile?

Connie: oh, I have? Sorry I've just been theorizing on how he functions, and what type of power core would be needed to power such an advanced network of mechanisms.

Y/n: I could make a blueprint of my chassis, if Steven would allow it.

Steven: oh, Of course she can!

Y/n: I'll need 27 pieces of standard issue constructing paper.

Connie: 27?! How complex are you?

Y/n: I am one of, if not the most advanced gem technology of the 1st era.

Steven: wow that means your really old, right?

Y/n: yes, however I do not know the exact date of my creation.

Connie: well do you guys have any construction paper at the beach house?

Steven: Pearl should have some.

They all begin to walk back to the beach house. But when they get there, something seemed off.

Amethyst: come on! Throw me at it again!
