I forgot to post this before the first chapter- whoops.

This book hits on a lot of topics close to my heart, specifically foster care and fostering teens. Teenagers have so many struggles in general, like peer pressure, mental health problems, cyberbullying, and relationships. Now imagine a fifteen-year-old who has the problems of a normal teenager, but no parents, stable home, or someone they know loves them.

That's what a teen in foster care feels.

Here's the thing. Statistics show that seventy percent of teens in foster care want to go to college, but only three percent of teens in foster care graduate college. Forty percent of teens end up homeless, twenty percent end up dead before age 24, and sixty percent of males who age out of foster care are convicted of a crime before age 24.

20% become homeless the day they age out. Guess what 60% of sex trafficker and rape victims are? Foster teens and teens that come from group homes.

That's too high of statistics. But we can do something about it! Help me raise awareness for teens in foster care. Together we can change and saves a lot of lives of teens in foster care.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!
