There was a brief moment of peace as Blackjack rode Percy back to Midtown. The only ambiance was the faint explosions from the battle and the sound of rushing wind. Percy took this time to try and calm down from his scuffle with the sow.

"How you holdin' up, boss?" Blackjack asked as he felt Percy lean down a bit and look to the side to catch his breath.

"I've been better" the demigod replied honestly. The horse felt a tinge of sadness-infused worry at that, slowing his flight a little bit to allow Percy a marginally longer window of time to calm down.

"Are you gonna be okay?"

"I have to be" Percy replied simply. Everyone was following his lead in this fight. I wasn't built for this is all he could think as Midtown grew closer and closer.
