Amity POV (holy shit a new POV)
Saturday
We were on our way back to Luz's house when I noticed that she fell asleep in the back,
'she must've been more tired than I thought from that fight...'
I decided not to wake her up until we got back to her house which by now was only ten minutes away
My phone then buzzes and I check my phone
Edric
Mittens! Where are you!
I decided to stay the night with some friends
Well mom is pissed! You need to come home now
Shit, okay, i should be home in around 45 minutes
End of chat
"Damn it... hey Willow could you drop me off at home after we get Luz home?" I asked, slightly nervous as to what I would come home to
"Sure thing" Willow said
"Aww, trying to leave me already ams?" Luz said tiredly
"Oh, Luz, I thought you were asleep." I said kind of shocked
"Nah, just resting my eyes, any specific reason you wanna go home? I remember what you told me about your parents so im just worried something might happen..." Luz said, worried for Amity
'Luz is worried about me?' I thought, slightly blushing. "My... my brother texted me saying i needed to get home" I said, not telling a lie but also not the whole truth
"Oh okay, well if anything happens, just call me and I'll come pick you up in a heartbeat" Luz offered, smiling widely
I blushed more, 'what is happening to me!? Why is she having this effect on me! We just met a few days ago!!!'
Timeskip (3:42)
We had finally gotten to Luz's house and dropped Luz off
"Oh wait!" Luz seems to remember something, she walks up to the car motioning for me to roll my window down and I do as she says
"Ye-" I'm cut off by her kissing me
"That's payback for last night and stealing my first kiss, though I'm not gonna say I didnt like it" Luz said with a wink
I just sit there dumbfounded and a gay blushing mess when I finally stutter out "I-I t-thought that was a dream."
"Well, it wasn't, and before you go could I get your number? You never gave it to me" Luz asked
"Oh yeah uh sure, gimme your phone" I said still blushing, she hands her phone over and I put my number in and save my contact as 'amity🧡🤍💖', I hand her phone back to her and she smirks
"I have a better name for you." She says, typing away at my contact I assume
"Oh? And what could that be" I ask in a flirty tone
"Fart smella" Luz says trying to keep a 'straight' face but failing miserably
"HEY! WHAT! NO!" I yell out
"Im kidding calm down, but you dont get to know your name just yet, but I'll tell you eventually hermosa" Luz says
"Could you two hurry this whole thing up, I gotta get home soon too." Willow says annoyed
"Yeah, sorry Wills, anyway, see you at school Ams, byeeeeee!!!" Luz says as Willow drives off

Willow had just dropped me off at home and I thanked her before she left so that left me alone, standing in front of my house
I stand there for a while. Just thinking. This house has never really felt like a home... its always felt cold and bleak. Bleached of life. With my mothers decorating tastes... it might be for the best that its so empty.
I've lived here my whole life though so why does it feel so intimidating now, I start swaying back and forth wondering if I should just call Luz to come pick me up because I was not ready to face my Mom right now. Especially since it wasn't all too uncommon for her to use force to get her way...
I finally decided against it and walked up to the front door, my hand reaching towards the handle but hesiating. I reinforce myself and open the door slowly, making sure not to be heard.
I look around, making sure theres nobody nearby before swiftly entering and speed walking directly up the stairs and to my room.
I successfully made it to my room without anyone knowing I got back when suddenly the twins burst through my door
"Amity, pack your shit, we're getting out now, we don't have much time so hurry" Emira says quickly, opening my closet and throwing me a few bags
"Em? Ed? What's going on?" I ask worriedly
"Mom and Dad are what's going on, they are both drunk and went out to look for you but I really don't trust them, I heard them say earlier that they were gonna 'teach you a lesson' once you got back and we all know what that means, especially when they're drunk... I'm worried they might go to far this time" Edric says while helping me pack my clothes
We continue packing in silence until everything I might need is packed, I call Luz and explain to her the situation when I hear the front door open and close
"Shit! They're back already!" Emira says as she locks my door
"Balcony! Get to the balcony!" Edric says quickly and quietly
"How! We're on the second floor, how is that gonna help!" I whisper yell as Edric grabs the sheets off my bed and ties them together
"We're about to do some 2000's teen movie movie shit" Edric says with a smirk
