Luz POV
Saturday
"So you're sure it's okay if we stay over?" Amity questions Luz
"Amity, yes, it's fine, Eda, Raine, and my little brother King are out of town for a few days so nobody will ever even know you were here" Luz answers for the 6th time
"I know I just wanna ma-" Luz quickly cuts her off by kissing her cheek, leaving Amity frozen, speechless, and red for the rest of the drive to Luz's house
TIMESKIIIIIIIIIIIPPPP
We had gotten home around 43 minutes ago and I set Willow on the couch to sleep once we got home. Amity didn't have anything to wear so I just gave her some of my old clothes so she was wearing an old oversized concert tee and some shorts. Amity and I had just been sitting on my bed and talking about random stuff for the past few minutes
"Wait so you're saying, that you once made an anatomically correct griffin with spider breath?!" Amity asked excited that she could nerd out about fantasy stuff with Luz
"Yep! Everyone in the classroom started screaming though and I was sent to the office" I said annoyed that something as small as spiders could get me sent to the principals office "And Principal Rump was a real asshole to me after the snake incident"
"Snake incident?" Amity asked confused as to what she meant
"Yeah i was doing a book report on my favorite book, 'The Good Witch Azura' and I had a snake in my hand and the snake jumped off of my hand and bit the Principal." I explained
"YOU LIKE THE GOOD WITCH AZURA TOO?!?!" Amity exclaimed, excited that she had finally met someone else that liked her favorite story, and completely ignoring the fact that she assaulted the principal with a snake.
"Like it? I LOVE IT" I exclaimed with just as much energy "I have every single book! Including the bonus ones that are just extra lore stuff!" I continued
"Lucky... I never got the read the fifth one, my parents didn't allow me to get them anymore after I turned 13 saying they were too 'childish' for me" Amity explained sadly
"Well... maybe we could read the fifth one together?" Luz offered to Amity hoping she would say yes
"OF COURSE! I would love to!" Amity said excitedly "I've never known anyone else that had liked Azura!"
"Same, everyone at my old school said it was for kids but I still liked it, it's not my fault they don't have any taste." Luz said looking down annoyed about her old school
"Nobody at my old school liked me, anyway so even if someone did like Azura they wouldn't talk to me either way in fear of becoming a new target for the bullies. God Amber was a bitch." Luz continued
"You were bullied? Why? And who's Amber?" Amity asked sad that her new friend was once bullied
"Well, I was bullied for multiple reasons though a few of the main reasons was because I'm bisexual. I lived in a small town in Connecticut that was surprisingly homophobic so once I came out when I was 13 I started being bullied even worse than before, before it was just names like Luzer, weirdo, freak, all the good shit y'know? Well once I came out it started to get physical and one day... someone had a knife and..." Luz sighed and lifted the right side of her shirt revealing large scar that went from her ribs all the way down past her waist.
Amity gasped loudly, visibly shocked and angry "How could someone do that?! There's a difference between bullying and murder!" Amity yelled angry that someone would do that to her new cru- friend
"Yeah I know, they just cut me and ran away, luckily I was able to call the police before I passed out but even so, I still nearly died. They got put in jail for 17 years though for assault with deadly weapon with intent to kill aswell as attempted manslaughter though so they got what they deserved." Luz tried to calm Amity down "go fuck yourself Xander!" Luz yelled at the ceiling
"They deserve worse than that" Amity mumbled under her breath
"What was that? I didn't hear you." Luz questioned
Amity sighed, looking down "Nothing"
"Oookay..? Well we should probably go to sleep soon, its pretty late." Luz says while yawning
"Yeah you're probably right, but wait where am I gonna sleep? Willows on the couch and you qlready told me you don't have a guest bedroom." Amity started to seriously wonder where she was gonna sleep.
"Oh I just assumed you were gonna sleep with me" Luz continued "But if you're too uncomfortable with that then I could always go get my sleeping bag and I'll sleep in that." Luz compromised
"No no no, I couldn't do that to you, I'll sleep in the sleeping bag you take the bed Luz" Amity argued
"Amity, you're the guest, you sleep on the bed. I insist" Luz says as she starts to get up
"Nope. Guess we're both sleeping on the bed then" Amity says as she pulls Luz back down onto the bed hard, Luz instinctively closing her eyes.
"OUGH" Luz grunts as she hits the bed "did you really have to pull me down that har-" Luz stops as she opens her eyes and realized how close their faces are and quickly backs away, both of them red as a strawberry "SORRY!" Luz quickly yells
Amity quickly giggles at this which soon turns into full blown laughter and Luz soon joins in
"You're cute y'know that" Amity says, quickly giving Luz a small peck on the lips and turning over and going to sleep.
Luz just lies there frozen for the next 12 minutes, staring at the back of Amity's head, not knowing how to react to her first kiss being so sudden and by (in her opinion) the hottest girl she'd ever met.
"Holy fucking shit" Luz finally concurs "She just kissed me." Luz astonishment soon turns into pure ecstasy she closes her eyes and slowly drifts off to sleep.
"Goodnight Amity" Luz says tiredly before finally sleeping.
