                chapter 6- dustins creature

"this was the reason I was late for class" dustin states as he pulls out the ghostbusters trap that was currently holding dart

"Pretty neat these doors function?" Mr Clark asked I wasn't really sure why we were showing it to mr Clarke because honestly I didn't think much of it.

"Well yeah obviously but it's not about the trap... it's what's inside" dustin replies making Mr Clarke look at him with a curious expression

"Now this very well may change your perception of the world.." dustin stated

"Consider my interest piqued" Mr Clarke responds olives and yes flickering from Mr Clarke and back to the box

"All right first.. let's clarify that this is my discovery not yours" dustin try's to clarify before Lucas yells

"dustin! Jesus just show him!" olive bit the inside of her cheek her eyes flickering over to dustin with a worried expression

"All right I'm just trying to clarify-" "dustin!"
"okay fine!" before dustin could even think about opening it

olive hears the click of the door and a worried Mike run into yelling "stop!" olive looked over at her brother as he pushed olive and Lucas to the side behind him was a anxious will trailing behind him.

"I'm sorry Mr Clarke it was just a stupid prank!" As Mike grabs the box

"what the are you doing!" dustin yells

"I told him stop we need to go!" Mike says almost like he's out of breath "mike?" Dustin questions "right now. Right now!" Mike yells

we all ran out the door following him. Straight into the AV room. Quickly Mike stops Max making me Olive glare at Mike "what are you doing?" oOlive yelled

"party members only!" Mike replies  "she's a party member" olive argued

"no she's not!" "You let el be a party member!" olive yelled back as she regretted it instantly

Mike look angry as he leaned to her ear whispering "it's about the upside down! Do you want to endanger her" olives eyes widened

of course she couldn't know.

olive turned back to max "I'm sorry one second!" As the four ran into the room

I felt bad really bad.. but Mike was right it was just going to end up hurting her.

" I think that dart might be from the upside down will told me last year, on Christmas eve that he coughed up something that looked a lot like dart" mike explained as the group huddled around the av room table.

"Hello! Hello! Can I come in now?" Max yelled from outside the door

"No!" Mike yelled back olive bit the inside of her cheek wanting to yell at Mike but at the same time Mike was right olive couldn't put her in danger

"I don't understand" Lucas states olive nods her head in agreement

"What do you not understand?" Mike says
annoyed

"Any of it?" olive replied

"Will saw something that looked like dart last year?" Lucas asked

"Kind of there was no tail" will explained

"But then he heard it yesterday" Mike stated

"the exact same sound"

"why didn't you tell us before?" Dustin asks
