                chapter 3- the ghostbusters

Olive loved Halloween it was her favorite holiday but this year Halloween didn't feel like Halloween.. everything was going downhill again and she didn't know how to fix to it.

and plus the party were all going as ghostbusters. Which hurt olive because she couldn't be apart of the costume so olive still didn't have a costume.

olive leaned against the stairs she was wearing a cherry red sweater unlike Mike who was wearing his ghost busters costume.

they still hadn't talked since their fight last night. It was awkward as she watched my mom take pictures of him.

"mom no more" he whined

Mike wasn't even smiling for the photos Karen was taking of him. "Olivia where's your costume?"

"not wearing it I've had enough embarrassment this week" Olive huffed remembering her conversation with max

"what do you mean honey?" Karen asked her daughter in a worried tone

"nothing don't worry about it" Olive as she walked over and kissed her on the cheek immediately noticing her mom wasn't as tall as she seemed when olive was younger

"you're getting taller Olivia" olive grinned

olive was getting taller almost taller than Mike which she loved speaking of the fact last year she was a lot shorter than him now on the other hand...

"bye mom" Olive said as she walked out the door not waiting for Mike today

"where's Mike" dustin asked immediately looking for the Brunette haired boy

"he's almost here" olive responded

"you guys always show up together?" Lucas pointed out

"not today" olive sighed as Mike pulled up putting his bike in the bike rack

they all started singing the ghost busters song as will showed up behind them saying "who you gonna call?" Olive rolled her eyes her smile growing bigger.

Even if they were looser's and left her out half the time Olive couldn't help but love them.  She definitely had a soft spot for them more than she would ever admit.

"you guys are such nerds" olive grinned

"where's your costume olive?" Dustin asked all as all of them turned to olive

"not here" olive tried to say before she quickly got Interrupted by Mike

"woah woah why are venkman?" Mike asks gesturing towards Lucas

"what" Lucas asks just as confused as the rest of us

"why are you venkman?" He repeats again

"because I'm venkman...?" Lucas says slowly

"No I'm venkman!" Mike responds making olive roll my eyes

"why does it matter Mike?" she scoffed

"yeah why can't there be two venkman's" will suggests

"because there is only one venkman in real life! We planned this months ago I am venkman, dustin is stantz, your egon, and you are Winston!" Mike explains

"wait guys stop fighting smile" olive said breaking the fight apart all of them smiled expect Mike of course.

She took the picture shaking it as it developed. She zipped up her backpack putting the photo and camera in safely as she put it back on.
