The last male ship ( Azur Lane )

Chapter 1

05 May 2017 8:30 a.m., Y/N Hause. POV: Y/N

Y/N is sitting behind his desk, and ending repairs of the parts from ship, like he it doing more than 20 years.

Y/N: [ This was the last part, and finally my ship will can move on it's own! First time from 1994... ]

Indeed, it will be first time after tragic accident in 1994 when he been on an exercise, a high-pressure steam pipe ruptured in one of his boiler rooms. Because in this time most of the kansens was second generation ( female kansen/shipgirl for short ) and whole first generation was going to be decommissioned soon, repairs was unprofitable ( too short planed service from that point ). But he remains on list of kansens to 2007 because he was modified to be a anti-aircraft defense Barge to defense the main base. In 2007 because of new anti-aircraft guns has been installed in the base his " service " was no longer necessary.

Suddenly someone knocked at the door

Y/N: [ Who it can be? I didn't invite anyone and no one has asked if they can come... ]

After openig door to his surprise he saw... Yorktown and Belfast. He didn't see anyone from Azur Lane ( apart from Javelin and Laffey that come to visit him from time to time ) since 2007.

Belfast: Mr. Błyskawica?

Y/N: Belfast?! Yorktown?! What are you doing here? And you don't remeber what I said you long time ago? Call me Y/N because I know that my name is difficult to pronounce.

Yorktown/Belfast: Yes, we remeber.

Yorktown: We'll go straight to the point. Y/N, we ( Royal Navy and Eagle Union ) asking you to be a Commander of Azur Lane.

Y/N: Pfffff HAHAHA, Good joke Yorktown.

Belfast: But it wasn't a joke.

Y/N: Wait... You seriously asking me? I am not a special person.

Belfast: YOU ARE special person. You are the last male kasnen that still have a ship and kansen ability. that means you the only one person that know how Azur Lane works and still can work with us, shipgirls on sea.

Y/N: But you can choose one shipgirl and don't bringing me back to service.

Yorktown: Yes, but only with you we had a unanimity in voting. Nobody else got it.

Belfast: So? what do say?

Y/N: I have only one question.

Belfast: What is it?

Y/N: When I can start my job?

Yorktown gives Y/N a Commander uniform

Belfast/Yorktown: Now, Welcome back!

Y/N: Good to see you again. Now give me a some time, I will pack my stuff.

Belfast/Yorktown: Ok.

Y/N closed door and after changing his clothes to Commander uniform began to pack his stuff.

Time skip: 40 minutes

Y/N open the door with his all stuff packed

Y/N: I'm ready!

Yorktown: Good, I will call Clevela-

Y/N: You do not call anybody to tow me to the base. I've just finished repairs my steam engines! I must only install the last part that I finished repairing just before you knocked.

Belfast: Really?!

Y/N: Yes, I've had a quite some time from 1994. Enough to repair it all by myself, but ship is not in excellent condition

Yorktown: Ok, so lead us to your ship. We will help you start it up.

Y/N: Ok

They headed to the port

After start up Yorktown and Belfast went to their ships.

Y/N: [ I'm back in Business! ] < Y/N is ready for journey! >

Yorktown: < I'm aslo ready, what about you Belfast? >

Belfast: < I'm ready too. >

Y/N: < Soo... Convoy H34, departure! >

Time skip: 2 Hours. Azur Lane Main Base. POV: 3rd person

All base was moved by information that they have a new Commander, and it's someone that some ships can remeber. Everyone waited in docks, to know who it will be.

Helena: I see them on radar!

Everyone was silent, waiting who it will be... and rapidly out of the corner of main building emerged ship with " H34 " sign on sides. All ships from Cleveland-class instantly reminded to who this ship belongs and what Belfast mean that is " somone that some ships can remeber ". Javelin and Laffey aslo don't have any problems with identification.

After all ships docked in port all three kansens stands on platform and made their speeches.

( Y/N was the last from all three. )

POV:Y/N

Y/N: Some of you probably remeber me better or worse, but for those who don't know me: I'm ORP Błyskawica, second ship of Grom-class destroyer and the last working First generation kansen in the world. From today I'm Commander of Azur Lane, I hope that I won't disappoint you. If you have any question please ask now.

Enterprise: Is that true that you been decorated with the Polish highest military order for gallantry?

Y/N: Virtuti Militari, yes. [ This is the only thing that you thinking? Medals and how to fight?... You must have a sad live, Enterprise... ]

Wales (Prince of Wales): Mr. Błyskawica, will you fight with us in battles or you will be only in base like every other comanders?

Y/N: One more thing, call me Y/N. I know that my name is difficult to pronounce. And answering your question: I will fight with you in battles.

After answering some more questions, " ceremony " of welcoming new commander ended. After that was reminder how everting works, because it takes so long first day of actual work was on the next day.

This is the end of the first charter, it's longer than I Thought it will be. Anyway, thanks for reading first chapter, and see you in second chapter!
