Family bond

| 13 years Later|

It's been thirteen years and Naruto became the Hokage along with Sasuke becoming the Hokage's shadow.

Sasuke finally had the guts to be with Sakura after all these years and Sarada became a new member of our Uchiha family.

She has her mother's beauty but her father's skills and speaking of that today is bonding with your kids day.

I decided to go to the market since I needed to re-stock some food for the fridge. Kakashi wanted to make some of his favorite food. I never thought that Naruto and Sasuke were able to create a family of their own knowing how stubborn and clueless they really are.

As I made my way to the market, I found my way to some really cool new books that were released in the store.

Meet me in the middle, that sounds like an interesting read. I bought the book, and as I was making my way a sound I heard from far away.

" Papa I can't believe you called me such an embarrassing name like peanut" It was Sarada and Sasuke at the market spending some quality time together.

I wanted to stop to say hi but I figured they were busy. I decided to make my way out until I heard Sarada call my name " Aunt Amaya"

Ugh.. I am still not used to that even after all these years

" Hey, Sarada look how big you're getting! Hey Sasuke hows it going?" I said to them giving them a smile

" well it's bonding with your kids day and papa" Sarada sighed" isn't really doing a good job"

" well sounds like Sasuke alright" I chuckle a little

" how about you?" Sarada mentioned

" Oh I was supposed to go food shopping but I found myself distracted with some new novels I found interesting to read" I showed them the books I bought

" probably a good idea for papa to learn how to be a dad for once" seeing Sarada insult Sasuke, he took it quite offended

" haha well I should get going now, I don't want to keep Kakashi waiting," I said to them " It was nice seeing you both though, tell Sakura I said hi" waving to them I headed my way out

" Hey, Amaya" Sasuke called out my name stopping me from taking another step " Why not come join us for dinner? It's been a while since we all been together" seeing his face blush a little I could see how he tried to open up a little

" Sure, I'll bring Kakashi along and his favorite dish"

I forgot how it felt like to eat with a family knowing it's only been me and Kakashi living together. Now from retiring from being Hokage, Kakashi helps with the teaching of the chunin exam, and I took over the Anbu black ops as a way to protect the villagers from anything that tries to get through the village.

Yeah, It may sound like not much of retirement but I found this an alright life for myself and him.

" Do you really think they will like my dish Kakashi style!" Kakashi said sounding nervous as he was cooking

" of course, it's hella delicious! They'll love it I promise!" giving him a smile I hugged him from behind. I could feel the warmth of his body and his heart beating so quickly like mine. I wanted to stay like this for a long while...

" ah, the food!" Kakashi yelled out quickly I heard the alarm ring

" ah sorry!" I ran to open the windows and tried to fan the alarm. Finally, it stopped as I took a big sigh cleaning the sweat off my forehead

I turned to him to see him laugh I chuckled a little as well. At least we were able to save the food before we were going to head to Sasuke's place

"alright all done!" Kakashi mentioned wrapping the food to take on the way. I dressed comfortably and Kakashi as well. we put our shoes on and headed out our way to Sasuke's place.

I could tell that Kakashi was a bit nervous since he never had a family dinner before.

" we'll be fine, don't worry" I tried to help him calm down a bit. We walked our way to an apartment complex, upstairs was where they lived at. We reached the front of their place

alright.. just take a deep breath

I went to knock on the door gently three times

It was Sakura who opened the door, with a surprised look on her face. " K-Kakashi? Amaya!" noticing behind it was Sarada and Sasuke too

"He-" surprised as I was, Sakura gave a hug

" I'm so glad your here it's been so long" she said as I could hear her voice shaking a little

Has it really been that long..? Time flies..

Pulling away from me she smiled to me "come on in" and we walked inside their home. It was cozy and welcoming

The table was set with delicious food and Kakashi set his food that he made on the table as well. We all sat down together

"alright everybody dig in!" We all said and began eating

Outside I was resting my arms on the edge of the bridge, watching the sun being set. It was peaceful and watching everybody spending time with their family.

" I don't know how long it's been since I ate with a family" I said to myself

" it's always been you and Kakashi" hearing from behind it was Sasuke

" yeah" I sigh " honestly I never thought about having a kids. I'm scared" I told him honestly " what if I can't do it?"

" You won't know until you try? When I found out about Sakura being pregnant I was scared but was happy because I was given a family"

A family huh..

" I guess I thought I already had a family but it's more than that.." looking down at the reflection of myself " learn how to raise your own.."

" yeah I'm sure if you do have one of your own, you'll be a good mother because you raise me.." sasuke said giving me a smile

" yeah I'll take your word for it sasuke" I hit his forehead gently with my two fingers like Itachi use to do

I watched him blush a little like a kid as he reminded me how he was when he was little.

Now all grown up with a family..

I'll take your word for it sasuke..

I'm sure I'll probably be a good mother and Kakashi along side with me...

I'm sure of it..
