Leila watched through the Fall of Images, the viewer into the human part of Avalon. Queen Ana and her family were sitting around a fire, playing with the wolf Kate.
"It's kind of sad." A voice behind her said.
"What is?" She replied.
"You know the future. You know her destiny."
"It will turn out okay. They seem to be resilient. Especially her." Leila replied.
"She'll be my mate." He replied.
"Except your human doesn't know yet because he hasn't turned yet."
"He will. In a year or so." He replied with a wolfish smirk.
"You better not cause trouble for them. I may no longer be related directly to her, but she is of my line."
"That's up to my human. He'll be the one who has to find them from so far away."
"And she'll be drawn to him." She sighed. "Queen Ana's adventure may be over, but Princess Eri's is only just beginning."
