CHAPTER 18
TODAY IS one of the special day for Carisha. This is the day when she already let go of being her old self. This is the day for Gabby's birthday! And christening!
“Happy birthday, baby.” Malambing na sabi niya sa anak.
“Bertdey! Gabby?” (Birthday) Sa uri ng titig at boses nito ay para bang naguguluhan at nagtatanong.
Marahang tumango si Carisha, “yup! Today is your birthday and christening! Yehey! We will go to the church na. But first, maliligo muna ang baby.” Nag-ingay naman ang anak niya at napapangiti na naman siya.
Uhh, her baby is really an angel.
Carisha picked a white cocktail gown with red lace at the back. Partnered with silver one inches heels. She clip Gabby's hair and put a liptint over her lips and then, done! Her baby is unbothered pretty.
“Ayan, okay sit here muna ha? Wait me, magbibihis lang si Mommy.” Aniya sa anak na abala sa paglalaro ng cellphone.
Carisha took a bath and wore a simple skyblue sleeveless dress partnered by silver 3 inches heels. She just curled her her and put a little make-ups on her face and done.
Carisha checked the backyard first before they wait for Ashton to fetch them.
The color theme of the event is blue and white. Since Gabby loves sea, she just chose the blue color.
Simple lang ang decoration sa likod-bahay ngunit masasabi niyang maganda ang pagkakagawa at talagang kaakit-akit.
Her smile widened when she saw Ashton walking towards them. He's wearing navy blue fitted long-sleeve partnered by white slacks and white shoes. So handsome.
“Happy birthday my baby!” Bungad nito sa anak niyang buhat-buhat niya. Agad namang naggagagalaw sa bisig niya ang anak na gustong magpabuhat sa Tito nito.
Carisha smoothly gave Gabby to Ashton and kissed his cheek. “Good morning.” Bati niya ng magandang umaga sa binata.
Ashton kissed her on the lips, “good morning too, baby.” He greeted back. “Let's go, nasa simbahan na raw sila Matthew. How about Tita Cay and Tito Livio?” Banggit ng binata sa kaniyang mga magulang.
“On the way na raw sila. Tara na, baka ma-late pa tayo.” Sabi niya at nauna ng naglakad.
Ibinaba ni Ashton si Gabby sa backseat and pinagseat-belt ang anak pagkatapos ay mabilis itong sumakay sa driver's seat at pinaandar iyon.
“Was the church already in fixed?” Tanong nito sa kaniya.
Carisha nodded and sent a message to her parents saying they are now on the way. “Yup, though, the food aren't finish cooking yet. Pero sasakto lang naman daw para mamaya.”
“You sure?”
“Opo, boss. Everything was fine, don't worry.” Nginitian niya pa ito at sinuklian naman din siya ng ngiti ng binata. Parang mas marami pa kaai itong agam-agam kaysa sa kaniya.
PAGKARATING na pagkarating nila sa Simbahan ay agad na sinimulan ang binyag at hindi kalaunan ay natapos rin.
“Father, nasa labas na po 'yung Van na sasakyan niyo patungo sa aming bahay.” Malapad ang ngiting aniya.
Tumango naman ang Pari, “salamat, Ms.Alejandrino.” Aniya ng Pari.
Nakipag-usap pa siya rito saglit at nagpasalamat bago tuluyang lumabas ng simbahan buhat-buhat si Gabby na tulog na.
Si Ashton ay nakaalalay sa kanilang mag-ina hanggang sa makarating sila sa pinadarahan nitong kotse.
When they arrived at their house, a loud sound welcomed them. Thank god Gabby didn't wake up.
