"Thanks, hon," I said when we stopped outside the high wall. Lumingon siya sa akin at ngumiti.

"Anything for you, my Queen." Hinawakan ko ang kaniyang kamay.

"I hope we can be better again." I smiled. My heart sang out.

"I love you." I smiled as I was parted from him.

"I have to go."

"Let me know kung uuwi ka na. I will fetch you."

"Thank you."

"Take your time." Tumango ako at tuluyan ng lumabas ng sasakyan.

I leaned against the gate and began to ring the bell. Her face lit up, widening her smile. She's photogenic, has a slim body and looks like a model.

"Hi," bati ko sa kaniya na may hatid na ngiti.

"Good evening, Miss. Come in." My eyes roamed as I entered. The house is simple yet clean and attractive. The garden outside is beautiful, having small lights on the ground.

"I'm sorry if I came late."

"It's okay, Miss." This time, my joyous feelings changed and turned into grief. May kung anong hindi ko maintindihan.

Tahimik ang buong bahay. Our footsteps broke the silence, and no other noise kept us out. Tumuloy kami sa dining room. The cold of the wind welcomed me, at ganoon na rin nang makita ko ang isang lalaking nakaupo habang nakatalikod. Hindi ito pamilyar sa akin.

"She's here now," as she acknowledged me. "My English Professor, Ashleigh Fortalejo."

He stood and turned around, facing me. A possessive look from Jordan Guevara caught my attention and gave me a reason to think madly about it.

"Good evening, Mr. Guevara."

"Good evening, Ms. Fortalejo." This was actually weird. But people tend to call me that dahil na rin sa ito ang nakasanayan nila. Wala namang malisya.

"Have a seat." She smiled, looking at me, waiting for me to rejoin.

"What do you want to eat?" tanong pa niya habang nakatingin sa akin. He's ready to pick any food that I've wanted to eat.

"I'm fine. Thank you." He had magnetic eyes. Nakakadala.

"And Miss, if you don't mind, Jordan Guevara is my uncle." Kara giggled.

"Oh, really?" I laughed a little, unbelieving. "What a small world."

"Do you remember the last time I called you?" she added. "Tito Jordan, someone who's wanted to see you."

He's a stranger to me.

"Actually, I didn't expect this." I turned my eyes to her.

"I told my Tito about my English grades and he really appreciated it, asking me to invite you."
