You sat in the backseat of Steve's car. The sun was barely visible. It was pitch black outside.
"Wait a sec, how big?" Steve asked Dustin.
"First it was like that." Dustin showed the size with his fingers. "Now he's like this."
"Like a little dog?" You ask.
"Yep." Dustin replied.
"I swear man, it's just some little lizard, okay?" Steve sighed.
"It's not a lizard." Dustin yelled.
"Wait, is it Dart?" You ask, moving closer to the front.
"Yeah."
"How do you know?" Steve asked.
"How do I know if it's not a lizard?" You look at Steve.
"Yeah, how do you know, it's not just a lizard?" Steve raised his voice.
"Because his face opened up and he ate my cat." Dustin yelled.
"Holy cow, really?" You look at Dustin.
Dustin nodded his head while Steve just sighed and continued driving.

Steve parked his car in Dustin's house's driveway. You got out, walking to his trunk.
Steve threw the keys at Dustin as he grabbed the bat.
"So... you just, keep it in the trunk of your car?" You ask.
"Yeah." Steve replied, holding the bat. "For my own safety, of course."
You three walk towards this door on the floor. You held the flashlight in one hand, cautiously walking towards it.

Steve stood there for a good solid minute, looking at it.
"I don't hear shit." He finally said.
"He's in there." Dustin shrugged.
Steve poked the door lock with the bat, making a jingle sound. He looked at it for a good second before slamming the bat extremely hard on it.
"Alright, listen, kid. I swear, if this is some sort of Halloween prank," Steve turned to us. "you're dead."
He shined his light on Dustin's face. "It's not." Dustin said.
"Alright?" Steve said.
"It's not a prank." Dustin groaned. "Get outta my face."
"You got a key for this thing?" Steve tilted his head towards the door.

Dustin passed him the keys, Steve quickly opened it, looking inside.
"Hmm, anything there?" You ask, peeking in.
"Let me see that." Steve grabbed your flashlight.
"He must be further down there." Dustin gasped. "I'll stay up here, in case he tries to escape."
Steve looked up at Dustin before looking back downing, sighing. You snatch your flashlight from his hand as you walked down with him.

You crept down with Steve, holding the flashlight as he held the bat.
"I hate stairs." You mutter to yourself as you went further down.
Steve looked around as you shined your flashlight on useless furniture. He flicked on a lightbulb, dangling in the room.
"Hey, look." Steve nudged your shoulder.
"Ew. Gross.. what is that?" You ask as he lifted it up using his bat.
"Skin." He said.

"Steve? Y/n?" Dustin called from above.
You look in the corner before bumping into Steve.
"Get down here." You said to Dustin.
Dustin scurried down as Steve held the skin bat.
"Oh, shit." Dustin cursed.
Steve pointed your flashlight to the corner, revealing a bunch of broken bricks.
"Oh, shit!" Dustin cursed even louder.
"Where'd Dart go?" You yell.

8:23 am
"Dustin!" Dustin's walkie-talkie blurted.
"Oh, jeez." You jump. "That scared me."
You grab the bucket of raw meat and placed it on the floor.
"This is Lucas. Do you copy? Dustin?" The walkie said.
You fix your yellow gloves before picking up one of the buckets of meat.

"Well, well, well, look who it is." Dustin gasped.
"Sorry, man." Lucas said.
You watch as Steve took out a can of rusty gasoline.
"Sorry, my stupid sister turned it off." Lucas said.
"Well, when you were having sister problems, Grew grew again." Dustin sighed.
"Don't you think this is, too much meat?" You look at Steve.
"Pffft." Steve scoffed. "No."

"He escaped, and I'm pretty sure he's a baby Demogorgon." Dustin finished.
"Wait. What?" Lucas said over the walkie.
"I'll explain later." Dustin said as he turned to us. "Just meet me, Y/n, and Steve at the old junkyard."
"Steve? And Y/n?" Lucas gasped over the radio.
"And bring your binoculars and wrist rocket."
"Steve Harrington and Y/n Wheeler??" Lucas gasped even louder.
