Jungkook had no time to be bored or mope around, constantly caught up in work. Taehyung was busy too, meeting designers and stylists, models, photographers, label owners and so many artists in the industry.

When Jungkook returned home late night, he missed Taehyung a lot. They texted whenever they had time and Tae made sure that Jungkook was being healthy. He didn't call often because he didn't want to keep Jungkook from his sleep.

But Jungkook eventually got tired of the texts. Today, he wanted to speak to him, hear his voice.

It was almost 4 am. It would be 9 pm in France. The video call rang and rang. He yawned and began brushing his teeth, waiting for Tae to pickup. No answer.

Jungkook was tired. It was another of the crazy shifts in La Loca. He just wanted to curl up beside Taehyung and sleep. At least tomorrow was a rare Saturday with no college and no clinic. He'd catch up on sleep then.

He got under the covers, getting agitated when Tae didn't pick yet again. Tears pricked his eyes and rolled down his nose. He just wanted his comfort person with him.

"Jungkookie!"

The clear boxy smile appeared on the small screen, elevating Jungkook's mood immediately.

"Hey, TaeBear."

"It must be so late there, did you get back home?"

"Yeah, just did. How are you?"

"I'm going to dinner with my colleagues. Wait, Kook, there's someone I want you to meet!"

"Taehyung I'm really not - "

"Lisa! Come here!"

The video blurred a bit as Tae was walking to whoever this Lisa was. Jungkook sighed, sitting up. A very pretty doe eyed blonde girl waved at the screen.

"Oh, you must be Tae's boyfriend! He's told me so much about you! It's good to see you, Jungkook. I'm Lalisa, I'm from Japan!"

"Hello, it's nice to know you too," he waved and smiled, although he looked unenergetic as hell. "Enjoy your dinner, Lisa-san!"

"Thank you Jungkook! Have a nice night!"

Tae's face appeared back on screen.

"Hi Kookie! Oh God, you should literally be here with me. There's so much happening, I'm seeing so many people here and agh, it's been a crazy week! I went to the Louvre today, I'm sure you will love it. We're definitely coming here together someday!"

Taehyung was glowing. Paris suited him. His eyes shined and he smiled wider. Jungkook's heart warmed when Tae gave him a closed eye smile. He was dressed in an elegant navy coat and a grey scarf, hair flying in the wind.

"I love my manager here and the translator lady is awesome too. We're probably going to Nice, not fixed yet. I've been on my feet all day today. Paris is amazing!"

"That's great to hear Tae! You look beautiful, by the way."

"Aw Kookie, thank you! It's great to see you too baby. How are you?"

"I'm okay, I'm doing okay."

"Is... is everything alright? You sound weird."

"I just... I miss you, Taehyung. I'm knackered and I was really craving your hug right now and hear your voice."

Tears escaped him even though he didn't want them to. It was his exhaustion creeping in.

"Kookie... don't cry please. Are you not well?"
