Ash's Alternate Journey: Kanto Indigo League

Beginning the Journey (Part 1)

As you all know, Whenever a kid reaches age of 10, They would eventually go out for they're Pokemon journey and receive a Pokemon from they're respective regional Professors usually getting the trio of Grass, Fire and Water Pokemon as starters or getting a Pokemon in some circumstances.
They will try to conquer the 8 Gyms to test they're strength to obtain the badges. If they manage to collected all of it, They are now qualified to enter a League Tournament to compete with stronger trainers, They're also a chance that you might compete the Elite 4 and they're region's Champion and gain that title to yourself.

Well this story about a boy who is about to gain his trainer license to become a full-fledged Pokemon Trainer.
Meet Ash Ketchum, a skinny, slender preteen with dark black hair (they're some parts in his hair that has blue color in it), has slightly tan skin, and brown eyes that has very noticeable eye bags underneath them and has two distinctive lightning bolt-like markings from each cheek.
He mostly stay inside his home playing video games all day and draw. Can invent only gadgets which he does it every time because he was very bored. Likes wearing comfortable clothes such as baggy clothes, wears a hoodie jacket and headphones on. He is an introvert but He likes Pokemon which he has better understanding to them which he earns the respect and trust from his companions.
Mostly unenthusiastic in certain things and can be an enigmatic person in a way.

He is currently playing game something about a sandbox type which you build and break blocks and many stuff such as fighting monsters, crafting and etc.
He spent all night to prepare a fight against a giant black with large wings and spikes with dark purple eyes. He enhance is armor and weaponry after many hours of grinding to do it.

He doesn't know it's already 11pm at night...

"ASH GET TO BED THIS INSTANT!" yelled a woman's voice

"WAAAAHHHH!!!" yelped Ash as he accidentally fell from his chair

As the door open, Enter Delia Ketchum, Ash's mother. She has auburn hair styled in some ponytail and she is clearly upset about his son about his son still awake at this night which he has a habit most of time.

"It's already 11 o' clock and you should be asleep"
Ash slowly stands up after his fall and looks at his mom with fear as he lay next to a big Snorlax in a Sitrus berry costume
"Uh yeah sorry Mom..."
"Tomorrow is your Pokemon journey and yet your still playing on your computer, You will be late arriving at the lab that you will miss all the Pokemon available" She scolded Ash as she picks up a remote and turn on a TV next to her

"Here you should watch this, It's for your journey tomorrow"

"Good evening Pallet, Tomorrow is the big day for the newest class of Pokemon students..." it shows Prof. Oak, this regional's Professor, as he explains the introduction of the Kanto starter trio which consists of Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle.

"Go to bed and change into tour pajamas when this done" she reminded her son as she exits and close the room
"Yeah I will"

Episode 1 start....

It's already morning but the Dodrio didn't signal the morning call yet which Ash quickly wakes up and proceeds to change into his trainer outfit which consists of his dark blue hoodie with a black T-shirt, comfortable blue jeans, wearing white socks and blue sneakers and finally his black headphones which he bought not too long ago he also wears back pack around hin

Anyway he proceeds he go down downstairs
which he approached someone familiar to him.

"Hey kid, You sure up awfully early" saids a man's voice behind which Ash immediately recognize

"Oh hey Dad, I was going to Oak's lab for my starter Pokemon"
This is William Ketchum, He is Ash's father,
A laid back type of person and bit of jokester in which from what Ash could remember has an impressive skill with archery and a retired Pokemon trainer. Some people would compare to him and his son that they're some traits between them.
By appearance, Having charcoal black hair, natural brown eyes and average built body for his style.
"A headstart eh? You sure really excited for your journey, kid." He saids to his son while he drinks his morning coffee
"Yeah... you know how mom will do like stuff like this she will embarrass me infront of the people just like last time" complained Ash as he remembers the time when he first enter school which is very humiliating for him

Which his father sighed and said "That women, You know how she does it's just like any mother showing they're affection to they're child"
"Anyway you should get going little kiddo, I think she is getting starting waking up and I need to ready breakfast" His father proceeds to walk back to the kitchen to cook something.

"Okay Bye dad, I'm off" he then exits the house

("Oh wait he forgot eat") remembered Mr.Ketchum

As the Dodrio morning call came, he walks up to the stairs which leads to Prof. Oak from atop the hill as he eats his chocolate bar from his hidden stash he walks up door and proceed to open the door and enter

"Ah Ash, I didn't expect you be to be the first arrived" surprised Oak which he knows Ash has unhealthy habit in sleeping late and waking up early.

"Yeah... *yawn* Gonna arrive early you know for my journey"

"An early Pidgey get's a Caterpie, Well Ash since you arrived early, It's fair that you arrived early than the other 3 so you can be the first to pick your Pokemon" Oak proceeds to show Ash a round pedestal consists of 3 Pokeballs with they're respective symbols of each of they're type
"Now Ash you may choose-" Oak was interrupted by opening of his lab door

"Make way to your future Pokemon Master!" an arrogant voice called out
This Prof. Oak's Grandson, Gary and used to be friends with Ash since they're neighbors but later on Gary decided to start a rivalry with Ash.
(Author's note: They did not have a sort of fight)
"Well well, Isn't it Ashy-boy"said Gary as he approach Ash
"*sigh* Hi Gary" said Ash as he was tired
"That's Mr. Gary to you pal show some respect" sneer Gary to which The Professor frowned from his Grandson
"Haha...very funny" Ash sarcastically which he doesn't care which made Gary upset
"Your no fun"

*cough*
Which Gary and Ash stop they're argument went back to they're attention to the Professor
"Now I have your attention, Then let's continue on of what we left off on so Ash pick a Pokeball and receive your Pokemon" Ash nodded and walks on the pedestal
"WAH!? No way Gramps, How come he get's to be first" argued Gary since he is the Professor's son he gets an advantage

"Now now Gary, Since Ash arrived here first it's fair that he gets to pick first" said Oak nonchalantly to which made his grandson upset

"Hhhhmmmm...." Ash was in deep thought in picking a starter which make sense to anyone in picking starter. He is thinking of they're abilities and battle capabilities such as they're learning movepool and they're hidden abilities thanks to Galar introducing the Ability Patch for better access of getting a good ability.
As he looks at the 3 Pokeballs at the table he finally decided...

"Alright I choose you..."

Yeah this part is done and the starter I already planned for the story
(And in the future you will be probably be upset about this of same starter type of each region)
