Adam and...Jonah?

Chapter 1

[This is Adam's POV]

I've never met someone like him, like Jonah, my "best friend". It all started when we were in elementary school. I wasn't the most sociable or funny kid there, but Jonah was, he was also really noisy, not like he isn't it to this day. he would always find something to complain about. I was sitting on one of the two swings that were in the playground near the school, all alone,waiting for my mother to come and pick me up.Then he came. I do not know what went through his mind, but he just came and sat on the swing near mine. "Hey! Do you want to be my friend?" he loudly said to me, "uhm...ok... what's your name...?" I replied, unsure if it was a dare one of the other kids forced him to do, "I'm Jonah! And you?" He rapidly responded. Some seconds of silence passed, as i tried to think positively about what was happening. "I...i'm Adam..." i said while realizing he was actually waiting for an answer. " that's cool! I will see you tomorrow at school Adam! Now i have to go..." he sadly yelled at me, while I slowly waved at him. To this day, he is even more loud and jealous than he was when we were six years old. We are in high school now, well...uhm... we are always skipping, so not much into the school. I do not know how we passed those classes, in fact we are both gonna be seniors this year. Me and Jonah are together all the time, and this made me discover all about him and his personality. I know how much he hates one of our classmates, Eve is her name. Jonah hates Eve mainly because she was one of my ex-girlfriends. She isn't one of the most loyal girlfriends in the school, but she decided that it was a good idea to play with my  feelings, but her plan sadly failed, I knew she would want to be my girlfriend because i am "popular" apparently,which is all thanks to Jonah by the way, so i decided to play her game too. Jonah dislikes Eve with his whole heart...well he is also pretty jealous sometimes, i cannot talk to anyone that is not him, because he would get mad at me, he is worse than every girl I've ever played in this school. My mother is dead, so i am more likely to be alone or with Jonah. He likes to come over to my mother's house, where i live, and spend time with me, because his parents don't mind him being away, so he just does it. I also enjoy it. This evening i hear a furious knocking on my door. I recognize him by the way he knocks on my door, so i take my time before answering him, he also is aware of it. After making him wait a good five minutes, i open the door
while yawning. Jonah stares at me for a good twenty seconds and then starts laughing.
