later that night i got a text from maggie that she heard what happened and wanted to come over, also to hang out with nat and i
so that's what was happening? right now it's almost 11 at night and we were going to bar to bar, saving the best for last. the hard deck
"it looks the same" maggie mummerd as we walked through the door of the bar
"that it does" i said too "you've never met penny have you?" i looked at mags and she shook her head
i looked at nat, she grabbed one of maggie's hands and i grabbed the other
"hey penny" nat fretted her once we got to the bar, i immediately sat on one of the stools "this is maggie, the one we told you about"
maggie shook penny's hand "i've heard a lot about you" maggie smiled
"me too, all good things though of course" penny smiled back "what can i get you girls? or do y'all not want anything looks like y'all have had a lot of fun already" she laughed
"a lot of beer? no" nat said
i continued "a lot of fun? yes" i said "can we have some shots then after any choice of beer"
"you got it" penny left for a second then came back with the shots on her tray " the boys are here by the way" she gave us the shits then pointed behind us
we all turned our heads and saw bob, hangman, coyote, rooster and wildcat
i sighed and turned around " well there goes our fun" they all laughed at me
i saw that penny had a shot in her gave too witch made me smile
"on 3?" we all nodded as maggie

we yelled and downed the shot, i feel like everyone is looking at us
i laughed at made a face at the taste "shit" i breathed out " that was strong".
"hell yeah it was" maggie exclaimed and took a sip of the beer that was also in front of her
"you guys go have fun with the boys" penny says " but not to much fun"
we all laughed and headed to where the boys were " hey boys, what are y'all doing here?" i asked, setting my beer down on the side of the pool table
"same thing as you, just didn't drink as much as you" coyote said making me laugh and roll my eyes
i sat up on a stool that we next to a wall, bradley walked over to me and kissed me "hey" he said softly
i kissed him again before saying "hey" i leaned my hand on his shoulder so i don't 'fall' off the stool
"you okay?" he asks me and i nodded "tired?"
i shook my head and forced his body to turn around and my arms rested on his shoulders
"so ace, what was that earlier?" wildcat started " you almost died"
"but i didn't" i shrugged "bet you'd miss me"
i heard hangman 'ooo' but he stopped when coyote hit him in the chest
" you know i would" wildcat bent down and shot his shot in the game of pool, of course he made it
i felt bradley stiffen from under me, i shoved him a little and jumped down grabbing his hand
"i'll see y'all on sunday" i tell them, walking out of the bae hand in hand with bradley "take me home" i whined with a slight slur
