"Ma'am you will be attending an opening in Ilocos Norte along with Gov. Matthew Manotoc."

I froze. "Matthew Manotoc?" i asked innocently as if I don't have an idea on who he is.

"Yes Ma'am. You already have a flight tomorrow aleady po. The governor doesn't know about your name Ma'am but would you like me to tell him?"

"No. I'll introduce myself to him nalang ulit" i replied.

My secretary, Ellia, went out as I massage the bridge of my nose while trying to breathe as the name Matthew Manotoc keeps on playing in my head every second.

"hinga, athena... move on na sya, naka move on ka na den..." I said to myself.

After a few minutes, I finally calmed myself down. I have no choice, i have to attend the opening or i will lose the deal with the Dy's. I will be in trouble if that will happen.

"Hey, I heard about the opening" Sabi ni Gio, isa sa mga kaibigan ko.

"Yeah. Ano sa tingin mo? andon kaya si Sandro?" I asked.

"Well... didn't he fly to London last month? he posted it in his instagram account eh" He said. I raised my brow at him. How did he know?

"Hey! hindi ako stalker ah!" he yelled. "N-Nakita ko dahil fan yung friend ko!"

"Ay sos Giovanni! Sabi mo eh" I answered with a smile on my face.

Sunod sunod na dumating ang mga kaibigan ko sa opisina ko. I know na they know about the opening. Well of course they know, Athena! they're your business partners stupid.

"So ano na? ano balak mo kapag nakita mo si Sandro?" Mikaela asked.]

I sighed and looked at her. "Edi 'yon. Wala naman na akong magagawa at hindi ko naman mapipigil kung mag kikita kami o hindi eh"

"Reremind lang kita Athena ah there might be a possibility na he moved on already. Ikaw? naka move on ka na ba?" She asked.

"Oh ano na naman yan at parang MMK na naman kayong dalawa dyan?" biglang sulpot ni Theo sa harap namin ni Mikaela.

We're at Theo's house for a gathering because it's his birthday. Kumpleto kaming mag kakaibigan at ganon na den sa pamilya nya.

"Eto kasi si Athena, mukhang hindi pa nakaka move on ang bunso naten!" sabi ni Mikaela. "Jusko Athena Margareth Yang! hindi ka pa talaga nakaka move on ano?"

"medj.." I whispered.

"Aha! hindi ka pa nakaka move on! sabi ko na eh" sigaw ni Theo.

I gave him a hard slap on his arm which made him yell. "Aray ha!"

"deserve!" i yelled.

We were having fun, i even forgot about my problems at the office. Thank God i have them or else i would die from frustration. They would give me advice and make me happy. like what Mikaela said, I am the bunso of our group. I am the youngest since they're all a year older than me. I skipped a grade in highschool that's why.

After the party, I went home already since i still have a flight tomorrow. Kasama ko na sila dahil involved den sila sa project na toh. I saw na my assistant packed my things already which I did not ask her to do.

The next day, the beams of the sun peeking thru my curtains woke me up. I got up and took a quick shower so that I could go to the airport early.

After a few minutes, i was able to be in the airport already. And of course no one was late. We boarded the plane and since it will only take an hour from Manila to Ilocos by 9:30 we were there already. Mikaela was looking for a place to eat, while Theo was sleeping on Gio's shoulder.

"Ang sweet nung dalawa" bulong ni Mikaela. "inom pa more, pagod na pagod tuloy yung dalawa"

"hayaan mo na. kelan lang ba umuwi si Gio from france? 2 months ago?" I replied.

"Yeah. They missed each other" she said.

"ang ganda!" Sigaw ni Mikaela nang makita ang malacañang of the north.

"ang ingay, Mikaela. baka multuhin ka ni Ferdinand Marcos" sita sakanya ni Theo.

"Mama mo!" Pikon na sagot sakanya ni Mika.

"Athena?"

i froze when I heard a familiar voice. i slowly turned around and saw Matthew with kuya michael. "It's you!"

"M-Matt..." i spoke.

"oh my God we missed you!" Kuya michael said and walked towards me to give me a hug.

"Hold on... don't tell me that you're the one im supposed to open the mall with?!" Matthew suddenly said.

"Y-Yes. i am-"

"Yay! Finally!" He cutted me off.

I was shocked.

i hope he isn't here.

"Matt, i told you to just take a pic and send it immediately to Vince-"

He looked at me. "Hey"

I couldn't breathe.

I froze as if i was stuck in a tub full of ice.

"Hey.." i spoke.

"Kamusta na?" He asked.

"eto. Okay lang, humihinga pa naman." I replied sarcastically. "Ikaw?"

"Eto. Still alive. Still waiting for someone to come back,"
