that morning at school fangs is going over a plain and your kinda agreeing "nice article your girlfriends mom wrote" sweet pea said, "yeah i saw that, dilton doily said he was stabbed when a bunch of you guys jumped him" jughead asked "idiot stabbed himself with his own knife" fangs said "and we didn't jump him there was a fight bulldogs VS serpents and you see this" sweet pea asked jughead as he pointed to his eye which is now a dark purple " your boy andrews gave it to me just before his girlfriend shot a gun into the air" sweet pea said "what happened" jughead asked "and of course northsiders get off scot free and the rest of us are hauled in by the police" you say referring to early morning events "its payback time" fangs says "what are you guys talking about" jughead asked confused "what is that" jughead asked looking at the paper "is that a pipe bomb" jughead asked looking at you "Fogarty's cousin served in the army he's gonna build us something we'll do it after hours" sweet pea said "but it'll shut the riverdale register down once and for all" fangs said finishing sweet peas plain as he stopped and sat next to you and you laid your head on his arm from the headache you hand from yelling at police all morning "you think blowing up a building is going to make thing better" jughead yelled "it cant get any worse" sweet pea said starting to stand up again "yeah sweet pea it can let me talk to archie let me figure this out ok" jughead asked and you shook your head "jughead there is no talking to archie ok last time i tried to talk to him he almost shot me" you said getting up to leave with sweet pea, fangs and a few others "we don't even know who you stand with us or them you cant be half a serpents" sweet pea said and grabs your hand in his and you guys walked off but told sweet pea you will catch up later "great so archie started world war III" jughead said "northside has been dumping on serpents for years" you said "your dad tried to keep the peace avoid bloodshed now that he's gone idiots like sweet pea thinks there's only one path and one solution violence" toni said leaving while you stayed with jughead as he asked questions about you almost getting shot "jughead i tried to talk to him a few night ago when he was tagging a building a few blocks away and he pointed a gun at me and almost shot me i don't know how much more he'll listen too" you said getting inside FP's trailer "and you agree with sweet pea " jughead asked "well not about the bomb but yeah a little you cant keep being half a serpent were all about loyalty and trust and how do they know they can trust you if you wont stand by them" you said and left jughead in his thoughts
later that day you watched sweet pea play pool with tall boy "i think this northsider is lost" sweet pea said "im not, im over being half a serpent " jughead said "wow you will do anything to protect your little northside buddies" sweet pea said pushing jughead with is shoulder to walk over to you as you were sitting behind tall boy who is now playing "my father was a serpent he led you i wanna stand with you guys tall boy and yn were the ones that gave me this jacket its finally time i start wearing it" jughead says tall boy hit the ball then walks up to jughead "so now you wanna be a serpent huh? let's see if you survive the initiation first" tall boy says and walks away
at like midnight the serpents gave jughead the beast known as hotdog and that morning you and toni joke about it "so what do you think of the beast" toni asked as you start laughing "he stinks, and he barks all the time hes got no boundaries" jughead said "yeah well you can blame the last one on yn she spoils him, and he won't go anywhere without her" toni says "hey you can't do that you guys gave me a dog and i love him" you say "every new recruit has to take care of hot dog and when we don't have a new recruit he stays with yn" toni say explaining the initiation then you and toni walk away and walk back to the trailers later that day you and toni are helping jughead recite the laws of being a serpent "a serpent never shows cowardice, if a serpent's killed of imprisoned their family will be taken care of, serpents..." he says as he forgets it "come on focus you need to take this seriously" you say as you play with hot dog on the couch "ok, i am, yn, i swear to god im just first the beast and now these laws" jughead said "why the change of heart anyway why go from conscientious objector to a full-fledged member " toni asked "cuz of something you said my dad was the only person that was keeping idiots like sweet pea in line and yn stepped up and is the leader but i wanna help her" jughead said
later that night jughead was reciting the laws back too tall boy "what is the fourth law" tall boy yells "no serpent is left for dead" jughead yells back "what is the fifth law" he yells again "a serpent never betrays its own" jughead yells back "what is the sixth law" tall boy yell for the final time "in unity there is strength" jughead yell back for the last time and all the serpents say "in unity there is strength" "you know the laws" tall boy says "now its time for the next trial" you say and sweet pea move's away and fangs does the same to revile a raddle snake with a knife "retrieve the knife" you say "what" jughead looks at you with fear in his eyes then looks at toni and she nod's her head "rattle snake, yn the rattle snake bit me a drew blood" he complains as you rap his hand "on that had its venom glands removed" you say as you finish and toni hands you a drink "the important thing is you showed no fear" toni says "oh no he showed fear it was in he's eyes" you say "yn that's not fair you know how i feel before i even know" he says "you grabbed the knife and you remembered all the laws" toni says "witch means your almost a serpent now jug" you say and give him the rest of your drink and go find sweet pea
the next day after school you and the rest of the serpents are walking to jughead's trailer when you see archie "what the hell do we have here" sweet pea asked and you froze because the last time you saw archie he almost shot you "just leaving" jughead says and sweet pea moves you so your behind him "wait your friends with these thugs" archie asked "its not what you think" jughead says "are you joining the serpents" archie asked "if he survives and go ahead call us thugs one more time" sweet pea says walking closer and jughead stops him "jughead these are the guys who attacked me who attacked reggie and veronica and dilton, your friends" archie say "wait is that why you're here to warn me" jughead asks " no i came here to tell you to stay away from betty she doesn't want to see you anymore" archie says "screw you i just saw betty yesterday she, she was fine" jughead said "no dude shes been wanting to break up with you for weeks shes been agonizing over it since you crossed the dark side she couldn't bring herself to do it" archie said "so she sent you betty would never do that" jughead said "if you dont believe me then call her and feel free to tell her you're a serpent now too i bet she'll love that she saw where you were headed jughead ok we all did and she knows you can't be with them and her come on man you know it too" archie says and starts to leave but turns around "oh and yn stay away from dad he doesn't need this" he says and starts walking again "no" you yell and try to lunge at him but sweet pea stops you "let me go" you yell at sweet pea crying when he does you go into FP's trailer with jughead behind you jughead tries to calm you down but it doesn't work "yn it'll be ok you have me toni sweet pea and fangs" jughead says trying to make it better "but there not my dad jug" you says crying all over again and when he tries to call your dad it goes to voicemail that night jughead was finishing his trials and you went back to yours and sweet peas trailer and waited for him to come back
when sweet pea came back, he saw your eyes red "oh yn" he said and hugged you and you started crying again "sweets" you say and try to say more but can't "let's get you to bed and tomorrow we'll go see your dad ok?" he asked you nodded and carried you to bed bridal style that night you fell asleep until your phone went off half asleep you answer it "hello" you say not looking at the caller id "yn you need to come to lux something happened" lucy said over the phone "tomorrow lucifer I've had a bad day" you say "no yn now we need your help" he says "fine ill be there soon" you say getting dressed and you told sweet pea to take you to lucy's place as hes been there before when you get there you were not expecting what you saw
