My person

My person:

That one person you can confide in and trust
Your safe person you can tell your darkest secrets to and who will hug you anyways making sure you don't feel crushed
Loving and accepting you regardless
Making your heart feel slightly better and reassuring you that you're not heartless
Not aching quite as much
Making it easier to bear yourself with the sun rises giving a golden touch
You can text them in the middle of the night just saying "I need you" and they'll be there
Helping you not hurt so much
That hole in your heart slowly mending thanks to them because they are so rare
Telling them how much they mean to you, hoping they realize just how much better they make living every day
Whether you're imagining the weight of the world or if it's really there
The pressure slows you down more and more everyday as a slowly turn into a decay
Finishing by collapsing on you
Thanks you for pulling me out of the ruins and saving me you are a friend that is exceptional and true,
I love you.
