Blocking everyone out
Earphones in, I block out the world
Unwanted thoughts, unwanted voices have no more space to unfurl
Insecurity, stress and anxiety leave my body
The pounding, all consuming music now filling my head telling me i can be somebody
This time, voices I welcome, chasing away the outside world that I so wish to escape from
A little trip away from reality, eventually numb.
