Erwin was shocked. He didn't expect the young boy to ask him that kind of question. He kept his shock hidden and responded

Erwin: We are.... but because of the Fall of Wall Maria..... it has gotten harder to find them. We don't even know if they're alive...

(Y/N)'s face remained emotionless but his eyebrows furrowed slightly. Not happy about Erwin's response about his family being dead. He didn't like even the thought of his loved one dead. He was willing to do anything to keep them safe, especially Mikasa. She was the only thing keeping him sane after all the loss and pain he went through

(Y/N): They are

He said sternly. Confident that his friends and family are alive. Erwin looked out the window to see 4 children playing. A blonde girl, a raven-haired boy, a brunette girl, and a ravenette girl. They were playing like nothing else mattered, of course, they're just kids. Mostly around 6-7 years old

Erwin: How are you so sure? They could be dead for all we know

(Y/N) hesitated to reply and the blonde noticed that

(Y/N): I saw it..... in my dreams...... when I was still in a coma..... they survived and found shelter. Somewhere Wall Maria....... I just know it

Erwin: It's just a dream..... they might not be alive (Y/N)

(Y/N): If it's a dream..... then what about the nightmare I had before the Fall of Wall Maria. I remember..... someone yelled... 'Run! They got in!! Titans are inside Shiganshina'

He paused for a second before continuing

(Y/N): When..... when Mikasa was yelling my name......because I was about to get eaten..... I had that dream a couple of hours before the wall got destroyed..... tell me..... do you think... THAT was a coincidence?

Erwin's face remained the same but his eyes widened a bit. Outside, he might look calm but inside, he was brainstorming. The possibility, if (Y/N) can see the future, then he can warn them before something bad happens. Erwin finally spoke, and what he said shocked (Y/N) to the core

Erwin: Do you want to join the Scouts? You have been training and I can see that you're strong enough. I can even talk to the cadet corps instructor and put you in the 103rd cadet corps even if you are only 12. You are the only exception I can manage

(Y/N): No, at least... not until I find Mikasa and the others...... It was Eren's dream to join the scouts... I'm sure he'll want to join the cadet corps when he's old enough.

Erwin: Alright then, we'll do our best to find them. In return, you will continue training when you're fully healed. After training, you'll be placed in Levi's squad

(Y/N) was silent for a couple of minutes. After silently waiting for the younger male's answer, Erwin finally got his answer

(Y/N): Fine... I'll join the survey corps. But you need to promise me that you'll do everything that you can to find them...

Erwin: I promise..... I will do everything I can

After hearing (Y/N)'s side of the story, Mikasa hugged him again. Not wanting him to leave. When (Y/N) was gone, all she felt was pain, sadness, and anger. She was angry at herself for not being strong enough to save him. She was in pain because she lost the only living memory of her parents. She was saddened because he wasn't with her anymore. He won't be able to hold her and tell her everything is gonna be alright. Their embrace didn't falter one bit. Holding each other close

Mikasa: D-don't leave me again...... please.....(Y/N) .......I... I-I......

Mikasa: I love you......... and I don't wan't to lose you again...... please

(Y/N)'s body went completely still, this was the first time he heard thise words come out of Mikasa's mouth. Both of them were blushing beet red. So red that their face is redder that the scarf (Y/N) gave Mikasa. Finally regaining control of his body again, the blue eyed boy built up the confidence and spoke

(Y/N): I love you too Mikasa..... so much.... much more that you know......

This was perfect for the both of them. The grass and leaves of the trees swaying. The air was fresh and cool. Butterflies was dancing on the multi colored flowers. The both of their hearts beating loudly and fastly. Butterflies filling their stomach and their hearts was beating as fast as trains

They pulled away from the hug but their face was close to one another's. They can feel the warmth of each other. Mikasa can feel (Y/N)'s hot breath on her face. Nose touching and both of them staring at each others eyes. Seemingly getting lost in one another. Leaning in, (Y/N) connected his lips with the ravanette's lips. Mikasa didn't respond due to shock and her gray eyes was wide. After a couple of seconds, he pulled away. But before he could say something, Mikasa pulled him by his collar and smashed their lips together

BOOM!!! Was what the both young teen's felt. Fireworks erupting their stomach. Ears ringing. Getting lost in each other's presence

They felt like they were in heaven. (Y/N) snaked his arms around the female's waist and Mikasa put her hand around the male's neck. Deepening the kiss. They didn't wan't to stop, but the lack of oxygen was too much. They finally pulled away, panting heavily. (Y/N)'s foreheads against Mikasa's

They stayed like that for a couple of minutes. Mikasa on the young boy's lap, arms wrapped around his neck. (Y/N) sitting against the tree, hands wrapped around Mikasa's waist. This is the only thing they wanted at that time. To be in each others arms. They didn't even acknowledge the fact that it was almost getting dark. They felt in peace being in each others arms. Their wounds... slowly healing
