"Happy Birthday Satoshi!" everyone shouted as he walked in.
"Thank you", Satoshi said quietly.
Everyone who showed up started conversations with each other as Satoshi walked over to the window. He sat down on the sill and looked out at the garden where the pokémon were playing. Gary and Paul walked over, sitting down on a chair or in Paul's case leaning against the wall.
"What do you plan to do now?" Gary asked after a while.
"What do you mean?" Satoshi replied.
"Everyone knows you won't stay here", he stated.
"I was thinking about continuing my journey."
"Where to?" Paul said glancing at him.
"The region Xerneas and Yveltal are from."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Paul questioned in a demanding tone.
Sighing he answered, "Kalos."
Gary and Paul shared a short glance at each other before Gary asked, "Could we go with you?"
"You may", he smiled, "Max was planning on traveling through Kanto."
"Satoshi let's join the others before they start wondering what we are doing", Gary smirked.
"Fine, but I am going to sleep early", he muttered walking toward the party.
"Why?" Paul demanded curious.
"I am leaving at dawn", he smiled looking back over his shoulder.
