- River's Pov -
As soon as papa walked out we burst into laughter when we finally calm down mum tells me she can do a spell to tell us the gender of our pup. I want to wait for papa to come back but i know he will end up fainting again so i gave her the go ahead. I lay down flat on my back pulling my dress up over my baby bump and Jacob lays a blanket on my lower half. Then mum comes over and holds her hands over my stomach and closes her eyes as she starts chanting the spell. Suddenly her eyes open as her chanting stops and i see that she has tears in her eye's.
"Mum what's wrong?" I asked worriedly
"Mom is it the pup?" Jacob asked just as worriedly
"The pup is fine there is nothing wrong i am happy these are happy tears" She said wiping the tears off her face
"Oh thank god!" I said in relief
"Did it work? Do you know the gender of our pup?" I asked excitedly
"Yes i do, Do you guys want to know now or do you want to wait till your papa gets back" She asked curiously
"Can you tell us when Papa get's back?" I asked knowing papa will want to know when we do
"Of course" She said smiling
"Oh do you guys want some food?" She asked us still smiling
"Erm yeah please i could do with a juicy burger and salty fries" I said excitedly
"Mmm me too" Jacob said smiling
"Okay burger and fries coming up" Mum said laughing lightly
Mum rushes out the room then minutes latter she comes back into the living carrying our food. She hands us our burgers and fries at she must have teleported away to get. Then all three of us eat in a comfortable silence and my god this burger si delicious. Once we finish eating i look at jacob only to notice he is already looking at me. I turn onto my side facing him and tap the couch he smiles and lays next to me holding me close to his chest. Mum starts to order baby stuff online but only stuff that i give my approval too. After about an hour we hear the front door open and close then minutes later in walks papa with multiple bags of stuff.
"Honey put them down and sit next to me, i did the spell and well i know the gender of the little pup. It's time to tell you, River and Jacob" Mum said sternly and he does what mum said by sitting down next to her with an arm around her shoulder
"Well?" Papa said excitedly
"Your having a baby.........Girl" Mum said with tears in her eye's again
"A Girl!!" Me and Jacob yelled in shock
"Yes a baby girl" Mum said as a tear rolled down her cheek
Jacob holds me close and puts a hand on my bump only for his hand to get kicked. He looks at me with tears in his eye then he pulls me into a passionate kiss that made me see stars. I pull away from him breathless and put my forehead against his and mouthed 'I love you' he said it back. Then i look over at papa only to notice he is pale and has tears in his eyes which makes me realise he might faint.
"Papa don't you dare faint on me!!" I said angrily with tears in my eyes
"I'm not sweetheart your going to have your own little princess" He said happily
"Oh my god i'm going to tell the pack and dad! I'm having a daughter!" Jacob said excitedly jumping of the couch but then he looked at me unsure
"Go baby, i will be okay here" I said happily
"I don't want to leave but i wanna shout it from the roof tops" He said still unsure
"Go son she will be safe, Go and shout it or howl it" Papa said teasingly
"Thank you" Jacob said as he ran out the house and phased running into the woods
"That boy is just so right for you honey" Mum said smiling
"He is Mum, he is my everything he makes me happy without him even trying, he is the love of my life" I said lovingly
"I can't believe it my baby girl is going to have her own baby girl" Papa said now in shock
"I'm going to tell the Cullen's i need help shopping" Mum squealed then teleported away
"Daddy, Daughter time" Papa asked curiously
"Daddy, Daughter time" I said smiling
He came over and sat next to me pulling a blanket over us then turned on the Tv he used his powers to summon some food. I cuddled into his side then i felt my little pup kick again so i grabbed papa's hand and placed it on my bump. He tried to pull his hand away probably not wanting to faint again but i kept it on my bump just as there was another kick. I looked at papa and he didn't faint he looked at me with a tear rolling down his cheek.
"Sweetheart you are going to be an amazing mother, You are a fighter, a warrior, a kind hearted person, very passionate, you have more love then one person needs and most of all you are protective. you have everything a royal princess needs and everything your baby will need, me and your mum are going to be there every step of the way, I love you my baby girl" He said softly and lovingly making tears gather in my eyes
"I love you to papa, i am just worried about our enemies, i don't want my pup to get hurt" I said worriedly as a tear rolled down my cheek
"You forget sweetheart our enemies are gone now, me and your mother killed them all when you were born because we wanted you safe now you and your baby can be safe" He said as he wiped the tear of my face
"So we are safe?" I asked needing to know that no-one will hurt my baby, my pup
"Definitely me, mum and Jacob won't let anything happen to you or the little one" He said nodding his head
We didn't say anything else we just sat and watched more movies untill i fell asleep cuddled up to papa.
