- Chapter 14: I Am Going To Be A Dad! -

- Jacob's Pov -

The whole time we watched movies i could hear something with my enhanced hearing coming from River, i couldn't move or say anything i am in complete and utter shock. I didn't pay attention to the movies at all i just kept looking her not believing what i am hearing because it had only been a day how could it have happened so fast. I am not upset i am excited and happy but i am alittle bit worried about what her parent's will say especially when they told us to use protection which we forgot in the heat of the moment. I kiss her head now noticing she has fallen asleep resting against my chest she looks so peaceful, relaxed and beautiful.

"Son what is wrong you have been looking at River the whole time" Lake asked bring me out my thoughts

"I erm do you guys have enhanced hearing" I asked wanting them to hear it themselves if they can

"Yes we do, why do you ask" Ocean said curiously

"Focus on River and tell me what you hear" I said they looked at River and their eye's went wide

"You. Didn't. Use. Protection!" Lake snapped out

"We both forgot in the heat of the moment, how did this happen so fast it was only yesterday!" I asked panicked

"You are both supernatural beings her a princess and you a shape-shifter, it will be faster then normal, honey can you take her to her room while i explain everything" Ocean asked looking calm

"Sure it will give me time to calm down before i do something i will regret" Lake said through gritted teeth as he gets up and comes over moving River out my arms into him. Then he walks out the livingroom taking her upstairs my inner wolf is going crazy not wanting our imprint to leave our side.

"You can go to her soon Jacob but there is a few things you need to know first is she will be asleep for the rest of the afternoon untill tomorrow her body is in shock at how quick all this has begun. Second is that this will not be the normal time frame it will be about 3 months long due to the fact she is elemental royalty and you being a shape-shifter. Lastly your wolf will be constantly on edge till the very end so i will go and inform Sam that you can not do patrols for those 3 months" She said calmly but i can see worry in her eyes

"She won't be able to go to the hospital for a check up will she?" I asked worriedly

"No but lucky for you i know a spell to use it's the same spell i used" She said softly which eased a little of my worry

"I am worried that when Bella finds out she will try something" I said worriedly again

"She can try but she won't succeed me, Lake and you will not let her" She said with a smile

"She is right i may be upset about the whole thing but one thing is for sure i won't let anyone hurt my family and you are now family young black time to find that ring i think" Lake said walking back into the room

"Can you guys help me set something up i know River will want you there" I said nervously

"Of course we will now go to her i know your wolf is pacing in its cage" Lake said waving his hand at me

"Thank you" I said as i jump up and run to River's room which is now our room

I see her in the middle of the bed tucked in looking beautiful as always, i go over and climb in next to her. I grab my phone and order the perfect personalised ring i am going to ask the love of my life to be my wife as soon as the ring is ready. I don't want anyone else and never will all i have ever wanted is River and now she is with me i am not letting her go. When she wakes up i am going to ask Ocean to do the spell to make sure everything is going okay and their heathly. We are going to have a pup, a very special pup, we are going to be a family our own little family, i am going to be a dad!!!!!
