We finally arrived to La Iglesia. I parked a bit far from Scott and Braeden since I still had to put on my mask. Once I was done, I walked over to Braeden and Scott. I felt my eyes change color, I was now in my Zane mode.

"What are you going to do when you find Kate?" Scott asked us

"Bring her back to the Calaveras. It's what they paid us for." Braeden told him

We walked closer to the Church.

"What happens after that?" Scott asked

"Not our problem." Braeden shrugged

"You don't care?" Scott looked around

"Do you?" Braeden asked him. "She's a mass murderer."

"But you two are mercenaries." Scott spoke

"Zane not so much." Braeden looked at Scott. "But a girl's gotta eat."

"If you were paid enough, would you kill her?" Scott asked

Damn, Scotty! What's with all these questions?

"If the money was good, I'd kill you." Braeden looked at Scott and I nudged her

She faced me and mouthed, 'Sorry'.

We walked into the Church.

"Can you catch Derek's scent?" Braeden asked Scott

"Yeah, I'm already on it." Scott nodded

I was about to keep walking when he put his arm in front of me.

"There's something else in here." He flashed his flashlight around

"Something like what?" Braeden looked around

"Something not human." Scott looked between Braeden and I

I continued walking forward.

"So how come you didn't kiss her?" Braeden obviously was talking about Kira

"What?" Scott said playing dumb I think

"How come you didn't kiss your girlfriend?" She asked

"You mean Kira?" Scott asked as we walked down a flight of old concert steps

"Whatever her name is." Braeden spoke

"Well she's not really my girlfriend." Scott said looking around

"So if you die down here, you'll regret not kissing her?" Braeden asked

Scott looked at her.

"You should've kissed your girlfriend." She added

We kept walking when I felt something behind us. I turned around to see nothing. I heard something and turned around again and so did Scott.

"Did you hear that?" He whispered to me

I nodded. I turned around again and Braeden noticed.

"What?" She whispered

"I have a feeling that something is behind us." Scott said

Braeden and I held our guns tight and we kept walking. This time Braeden heard the noise and said, "Did you hear that?"

"Is that why you never get that far?" Scott asked worried

We heard low growls and running.

"Get ready!" Braeden shouted

We both shot at the thing coming to us. She shot a couple of more times.
