It's Time
I must have been knocked out for a while because the next thing I know i am riding in a ambulance.
"Holly your awake".
"Hmm yea I guess so".
"How do you feel honey".
"Ok my body just hurts".
"Yea you won't believe this but".
"But what".
"You know that grumpy cab driver from earlier".
"Yea what about him".
"He was the one who hit you".
"What".
"I called the police and they said there is nothing they can do because it might have been a accident".
"Oh no".
"Oh no what oh no".
"The babies".
"What about the babies".
"Are they ok".
"They said that your not in labour yet but you could be soon from the accident".
"They would be over eight weeks early".
"I know that wouldn't be to good".
The ambulance ride seemed to take forever to get there. But when we did make it I was rushed into emergency just for safety because of the babies.
The doctors rush me I t the CT scan room and then take a ultrasound and then they place me back into a single person room.
Cameron comes in a few minutes later with the doctor.
"Hello mrs and mr Smith".
"Hi" we both say.
"It seems that you have not broken any bones or have any internal bleeding but there is one thing".
"What is it".
"Your going to be parents".
"What".
"You should be induced into labour any hour now so we will keep a eye on you".
"Ok thanks"
I cannot believe in only a couple of hours I'm going t be a mother.
"Cameron can I borrow your phone".
"Yea sure".
"I need to call my mom".
"Yea I called mine already but I didn't want to call yours".
"Thanks".
I dial my moms number and she answers the phone.
"Hi mom".
"Holly how's your trip".
"It's great but there's one thing".
"What"
"Cameron and I are going to be parents in a couple of hours".
"What holly".
"A car hit me and I am going to be induced into labour in a few hours".
"Oh my god it happens so fast".
"Yea it does, but their going to be over eight weeks early".
"Oh my gosh holly I'm going to try to get a plane ticket to come see you".
"You don't need too".
"I know but I want to".
"Ok thanks mom".
"Ok ill see you in a little while".
"Bye love you".
"Good luck sweetie".
I hang up the phone and hand it back to Cameron.
"So what did she say".
"She's going to try to get a ticket to come here".
"Why".
"I don't know".
"We'll that's nice".
"Yea it-".
"Holly what's wrong".
"Cameron it's time".
"What already".
"Go get the doctor please".
"I will".
I can't believe I'm going to be a parent soon.
