I'm afraid of
the paranoia that comes with being brave,
the mortification that comes with being bold,
the shame that comes with speaking out,
the paraphernalia that comes with lies,
the damage that comes with truth, and
the uncertainty that comes with risks.
But mostly,
I'm afraid of
the judgement
that comes when
I be myself.
