AND SO IT BEGINS.
you and your family were starting to get into the holiday spirit. you had started to see more holiday commercials and paraphernalia in stores.
you were sitting in the living room, when you got up to make a cup of hot cocoa when you decide to do something nice and make some for your family as well,
"do you guys want—" "—move out of the way! i have to say something!"
at that very moment, i (a complete stranger to you) pushes you back
"i've got a season's greeting event! lemme cut to the chase before you call the cops—i will be picking four people to draw one free image for! these images will be black and white or minimal colors, with a maximum of two characters, and no background!"
i then turn to the 'forth wall'
"just letting y'all know, that i'm announcing this even to all of my readers so you'll have some competition. it's not based completely off a first come first serve basis, it's basically the project that i think i can take on or will be fun for me"
"the event ends in two days!" "here's to a fun event to bring in the holiday season! good luck"
still terrified, you turn to your family.
